Could there be a panel for all mandates/bans/etc (in addition to showing them on the individuals' pages)? I ran into a (small) problem with the mayor bug -- the old mayor had mandated for sterling silver items (which there was no way for me to finish anyways) but after he was replaced his mandate was still in effect and he still expected it to be completed. However, you couldn't find the mandate's details anywhere.

The second idea I have was also inspired by the mayor bug. Could you assign a room to a position, rather than a person? Such that if the mayor dies/is replaced, the new mayor automatically takes possession of the old mayor's office because it's assigned to the Mayor's position, rather than to the Mayor himself.

It would be handy if one could tell the game "I want 3 miners, 3 growers, a furnace operator/woodburner and a metalsmith," and have it go through your available dwarves and modify their professions to make it happen, so that you wouldn't have to do it yourself (a rather tedious process at times). It would be even better if, when deciding who to make into these professions, it gave preference first to anyone with any relevant skills, and then to unskilled workers, before going into reeducation of the rest.

This could perhaps be a function of the manager. I can't really think of any other positions that would be good for this type of action.

After reading the most recent progress report (about pits), I have to ask... will we be able to build spikes on the floors? *evil cackle* Spike pits, anyone?

Man. Thinking of spike pits makes me also want to have spinning blades and man-masher traps as well.

Also venomous snakes. Oh man. There's so many things I want to fill my pits with. I might have to make one that's just a hole in the ground... goblins fall in and just stay there. Maybe I'll also toss all my other dead in. Sure would suck to fall in there...

So I've begun a little project (with help from Chris Hildenbrand). Currently there's only one episode. If you guys like it I can try to make more, but I do need your help with something: It has no name. So any ideas, comments, feedback, etc, feel free, positive or negative. I can't learn if I don't know what I'm doing wrong  :D

So our 4-man game currently consists of myself, Capntastic, Turgid Bolk, and THLawrence. It seems we are using Pantsheim rules, which clearly state that we make up rules as we go along, and no rule can contradict any other rule.

Turgid has an Elephant in G19, and demon in the magma vent.

I have carps in the river.

Lawrence has Engineers 1 and 3 deploying a catapult at IV 8. One of them is in a Fell Mood.

It seems to be Capntastic's turn.

I've noticed on legends screens there is a counter labeled "Historical events left to discover". However, I never see this counter move, regardless of how many site foundings, art pieces, or other such things I learn about in adventure mode. Am I missing something? What does this counter keep track of?
