Hey, let's make a fort being a one huge goblin prison hotel with dwarves moving in secret corridors to serve them! Like, you know, Smuntsu De Goblin leaves his room to look at some engravings of goblins surrounded by dwarves, and then, Urist opens a hidden door, makes his bed, brings fresh fruits, adds a new table...

Third wave: "OMA(mrok) HE HAS GOLDEN MUGS IN HIS FORT! ZERG RUSH EVERYDORF!!!" 43 migrants IN ONE WAVE... Dwarves surely love golden mugs.

I used to use kittens as vermin hunter and "friends" for my population to give them happy thoughts...
Then, 3 cats at once died because some idiot has decided to start pumping water NOW, not 3 MONTHS BEFORE. Dat berserk tauntrum... My militia commander was so unhappy about his cat that he has chopped his son's head right off. And then proceeded to decapitate everyone who was to stupid/sane to stay in the fort and don't run awat to some deep pit.

Looks like I didn't do anything productive all the year... yeah... We have to change this. Let's add some pumps to generate mist and assign me to operate them 23/7. I'm so cruel~

First update should come in 14 hours, if everything will go as it should. Ya know, it's midnight here in Poland...

Tetrahedrite throne decorated with tetrahedrite and with hanging rings of tetrahedrite. You like tetrahedrite, don't you, mr. moody crafter?
There was also a stone short sword, but shortly after that my fortress was overrun by 2 hordes of zombies, so I don't really remember.

Nothing. He would arrive at the same time as human caravan. Humans, after seeing something that could result in another "Twilight" book would rip him apart with bare fists to just don't let that happen.

Why would you want to save them? It's like helping someone who murdered your whole family, but worse.
Okay, nevermind... Covering entrance with a bridge looks like the best way to do it.

I have already weaponized it. My hallway (or however is called a long, wide corridor) is full of lava tanks with floor hatches above them.
1. Place coins, cats, legendary fishery workers or any other junk you don't need on hatches
2. Wait for gobbos
3. Pull the Lever of Doom
4. Profit.
