So, yeah. If you want to play with Bay12 on a non-Bay12 server, go on GalacticaActual; IP is galacticaactual.dyndns.org. IRC is #dwarveninvaders on darkmyst. It's an ocean server, with our base quite a ways away, so read the travel instructions. FYI, the server will be reset for 1.7, so if that annoys you, then you'd better wait until later to join.
1)Head southwest to Esperenza Island, using either auto-swimming* or a boat you can get by stepping on the pressure plate at spawn. You can try to find the nether portal near spawn and go to Esperanza, but I forget the coordinates for it and you might die.
2)Stock up with food and anything else you need (be sure to rest in the bed!), then enter the nether portal and head towards the Estrella portal. There should be a tunnel.
3)Stock up and rest on Estrella, then head towards I3 using the nether. There IS a tunnel, and it's probably visible.
4)Arrive on I3 and start building stuff!
To swim automatically, hold W + Space and press F11. Then read a book or something while Minecraft runs.

So, I was reading through the Minecraft topic, and I found a link to a "Dwarven Invaders" topic, the idea of which was to gather Minecraft players from Bay12 to form groups and influence servers by hoarding resources, building cool stuff, attacking other servers, et cetera. Now, I found this idea interesting, so I went to the last page, and the final post was in February. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone wanted to do this?
