Rule: In the event of conflict, rules with fewer words take precedence over those with more.

Damn it, forgot that those rules would themselves need to be ratified.
It doesn't really matter, you've already won the game, mate

You did use the word 'immediately', and the rule was put into place before the ratification rule was.
Yeah, but I didn't say the game ended, so it's still possible for me to un-win the game.

New Rule: Rules must be Ratified by three players that are not the player that suggested the rule.

A player can vote against a rule, canceling out a vote in favor of ratification.

Votes are communicated by +1 and -1 attached to a quote of the suggested rule.
Invalid, because "players can add rules" is immutable and this would be a negation or modification of said rule.
Well, it still lets people add rules. They just don't do anything until they're ratified. Technically, it doesn't say that they don't do anything until then, only that ratification must, in some sense, happen, but at that point we're playing rules lawyer.

Nah, I think my style of card design just isn't suited to a team-based game. I like to design cards with weird, unique, and simple effects, which clashes with my teammates' reasonable desire to have strong cards instead of bizarre ones. If you give me a choice, I'm always going to submit a card I find funny or exciting over one I find powerful. I'm not so discerning when it comes to deck creation, as you can tell from the fact that my Legacy decks included Verdant Growth, but that's only half the battle.

Besides, I read through the other thread immediately after making that post.

Didn’t you spend the last game making the most broken decks possible :C
Like I said, I approach deckbuilding differently from card creation. Also, it turns out that weird and unique cards are often very overpowered.

Out. There's nothing wrong with how the game is set up or how you guys are approaching it, but my approach to card creation just doesn't fit. I'll have more fun spectating.

Trading the least useful card in your hand for a card from your deck isn't net 0. It's only slightly worse than a draw. Getting to do it once a turn until your opponent spends a card to remove it makes it even stronger. Preventing your opponent from removing it, even conditional on there being another copy left in the deck, is stronger still, especially with the possibility of subbing it out for a different Library card. 4r might be too high but 0r is completely unreasonable unless this game is going for a late-YGO power level.

I don't think placing a card of your choice on the bottom of your deck is a particularly large cost in a game where you can normally only play one card per turn, and that self-recursion rider is ridiculous on a 0*.

Quote
NAME*: Library of CYOCG
COST: 2
COLOUR*: Pink/Black
TYPE-SUBTYPE: Sticky - Library
EFFECT: Once per turn, you can draw 1 card, then place 1 card on the bottom of your Deck.
FLAVOUR TEXT: The history of this card game is deep and disturbing. But they all show an understanding of the SOUL.
RARITY: Rare

I think somewhere in the 2-4r range is reasonable for a sticky that gives you +1 draw/turn with a small drawback. Maybe 4r with the rider, 2r without.

I wonder if the other team's proposals are this hideously overpowered.

e: Gothic Waifu is a really cool concept, though.

No way is that effect going to fly lmfao. I get that your philosophy is to try to sneak overpowered cards past the GM, but c'mon.

e: Well, OK, I guess it's tied to a 10/10 slowplay. Alright, I'm coming around.
