Forum Games and Roleplaying / Re: SPAMDRAGON: ZENDRAKIEL the RESPLENDENT!
« on: August 12, 2021, 10:23:36 pm »+1Now, write-in actions might not be kosher depending on the strain of SPAM Superdorf is running, but in the case that he'll accept them:+1
Iridium's New and Improved Option "D"
Storing our hoard in a flammable building is not the brightest idea for someone as RADIANT as ZENDRAKIEL the RESPLENDENT. Even so, there are certain advantages to staying right in the middle of things. because of this, we should tunnel beneath the mead hall until we reach the natural cavern beneath the town (the one noted in option A). Since ZENDRAKIEL the RESPLENDENT would never lower themselves to travelling through the COLD and SMALL ocean tunnel, we will carve out the tunnel and have a GRAND and IMPRESSIVE tunnel beneath the site of our future PALATIAL FORTRESS made out of STRONG and FIRE-RESISTANT STONE and METAL. (WOOD can be part of it, but only as a SECONDARY COMPONENT for DECORATION.)
(yes, this is a silly suggestion. it's a silly game)

Options for Education –
Study Biomagic with the Vermant
What do you do with Andre?
Let Andre go off.
Do you allow Anders to leave? If so, does he have your blessing to help run New Mahallo once he comes of age?
Let Anders go off. Do not promise him a regent position.
Possible Free Time Activities:
Contribute to the Dire Kangaroo Rat Business
Attend Texulchimum's Audience Chamber
Organize Hunts in the Desert with your Peers
--
Seems like the biggest threat right now is the Bloodstone Plateau. I’m thinking violence is probably going to be needed to repel the Bloodstone Plateau. That’s my reasoning for hunting in the desert, prepare Arawn to lead a mobile strike force against hostiles.
I'm against promising Anders a position as co-regent or regent. I think it's better to wait and see what skills he has when he's 17.

The situation looks decent for a nine year old. Intriguing to see what happens next.
+1 to most of IronyOwl's suggestions.
Killing Andre and Keanu would be dishonorable. Also pretty bad numbers wise to trade 1 friend for another friend. We could probably gain friends in the future without losing anyone.
"Why do you want to learn necromancy?"
“Under your tutelage, Apollo, I believe you can provide me the skill of rulership and knowledge of necromancy. Necromancy will allow me to make advancements in magic to provide for my people.”
At first I was thinking necromancy was just a tool, so IronyOwl’s answer seemed sound, but I feel like trying out the philosopher king angle would be fun.
"What do you think is the single most important trait or virtue for a king to possess?"
“Work ethic. A king does not choose the circumstances he is born into. Circumstances shape the goals on a king. But all successful kings must work hard and continuously to reach their goals.”
Arawn is the most industrious child ever lol. So I’ll just go with hard working.
Extra suggestion:
Tell our mother to inform our family of any marriage proposals for us or our surviving siblings. I’m guessing since we have older siblings, they could potentially get married down the line. Hopefully input as a family would make well thought out decisions.
+1 to most of IronyOwl's suggestions.
Accept the business offer. 1/3 of a business royal brats are running out of their sitting room is chump change. Further improving our (and Pennete's) animal husbandry skill is priceless.+1
Decline to murder our friend or half-brother. While a snake-demon assassin would be amazing, it would also damn us to a path of destruction and malice and nothing else. We don't actually want to destroy our brothers and all that they hold dear just for the sake of it. We're just going to have to be inventive to be anything other than a temporary third-rate king whose entire family is murdered for religious reasons.

"If you were to obtain the unconditional surrender of your royal brothers, what would you do with them?"+1
"Have them publicly renounce all claims to my throne of themselves and their heirs, and then let them continue to serve my kingdom as best suited their talents."
"If you were to obtain the unconditional surrender of your royal brothers, what would become of their subjects?"
"Add them to my holdings and rule them like all my other subjects."

He is one of Texulchimum's several trusted archivists and historians, but to you he is more of a mentor. Although he doesn't share many details about his past, he confesses to having once ruled as a noble, and knows some things about running a court. Not much to go on. My shot in dark is that Apollo values learnedness and rulership.

« on: August 11, 2021, 09:27:59 pm »On an unrelated note, I just remembered. Isn't there supposed to be a new domestic terrorist attack in two days? :v
I hope not. A domestic terrorist attack could kill a lot people. If there is like creditable evidence, you could send that information to some governmental authority so they could prevent the attack.

These sound like pretty good observations on flies.
I guess your incapacitation operation seems like the best option. Killing the flies ends their lives and that's the end of that. Throwing the incapacitated ones to the swallows feeds the birds and thus increases the survival of those swallows. I would assume the flies that don't get eaten would just recover in 5 hours and then carry on with their lives.
I have no credentials with animals, I'm just guessing what would happen.

I didn't check Bay12 since school started. My bad if I inadvertently killed the game. In case this is still ongoing:
Wrestle away the keys. We must be free.

+1+1Purchase a Basic Tool Set along with a few Nails and a bit of Refined Lumber. Offer to patch up the hovels of a few of your impoverished neighbors, for a fairly low price. Continue to attend work and hang out with your new friend.+1

Mistyped python.org during class, and went to weird redirect site featuring a shirtless man. Closed that tab real quick. Nobody in class said anything, so maybe they didn’t notice.
Went out running later, and a doggo ran up to me and started going aggro. It was small, maybe a foot, black, furred (not sure how to describe dogs). The dog kept barking excessively, dashing back and forth towards me, and kept trying to outflank me. After a minute or two, someone started yelling stuff too. Got impatient waiting for it to go away, so I started trying to lead it to an older woman 40 meters down the street. The owner kept calling for Chloe, and I did a lot stop and go walking with a crazy agile, loud, mad dog. The woman said she doesn’t bite, Chloe’s little jaws got caught on my pant leg twice. Heard the owner say once to kick (??) Chloe while I did this weird ass herding. Eventually she trotted back to her owner, and I was free to go. Kind of bothersome how some dogs are scared of people.
