IC thread is up!

Side note: I changed the dungeon from a palace to something cooler: a crashed Space Hulk :P

Reserved for the turn update.

Acolytes:

The acolytes begin their descent onto the Feudal World, Hush. The shuttle is buffeted with tempestuous winds, the pilots hard-pressed to stay on course. Unnaturally, the gales are silent, unnervingly so. Sound is weak on Hush, hence its name. The shuttle trudges on in silence.

Finally, after what feels like an eternity of rocking, the acolytes get their feet wet with mud and snow. The dark of night blankets all. Far in the distance, twinkling lights call enticingly: the local caravan. Inquisitor Sabbath had contracted them to house the acolytes' party, in return for the acolytes performing the tasks asked of them when they were not given direct orders from the Inquisitor.

The tempest continues to wrack the acolytes, their furs and insulating blankets doing little to stave off the cold. Instead of the howling rage common to other storms, the gales of Hush sing in deathly whisper. The forest watches the acolytes, the trees tacit sentinels, the wildlife ogling with misshapen orbs. In the distance, titanic mountains maintain vigil over the caravan-cities of Hush, and far-off ruins speak of kingdoms long dead.

But towering over all, its mere size mocking the laws of reality, is a Space Hulk. One that crashed on Hush a hundred years ago, summoned by the witch-king Shoa Sabbath. It's name is whispered by the wind: Original Sin.

The distant lights of the caravan grow less distant. The acolytes should not dwell here too long, for darker things have dwelt here for far longer....

Actually, that reminds me - when will we regain fate points and the like, or mine and ATHATH's divination reset?
Basically, how long is a 'session'?

Fate points will reset next Sunday, regardless of how frequent the game updates.

Actually...

Could I spend 3 more of my point-buy points (taking them off of Toughness or something) to bring my Intelligence back up to 40? That would then make it quite good for me, because I don't seem to have much anti-corruption stuff yet.

Yes, do this. As soon as your done I can start writing up the OP.

Then he's wildly dissapointed with the heretics and traitors playing Xenos and, well, heretics and traitor scum.
Then he should really have worked out a proper balance by now.

This is, of course, all because of Tzeentch's meddling.

What if the Emperor is talking to us from the future, giving us premonition in the form of the Warhammer 40k universe and the tabletop game? What if every game that's played on the tabletop actually happens 38,000 years into the future?

PTW all the science people do math :)

@ATATH:
Initiative: 1d10+2
Movement: 2/4/6/12
Max Weights: 27/54/108

Divination: Thought begets Heresy. Reduce this character's Intelligence characteristic by 3. The first time he would gain 1 or more Corruption points each session, he reduces that amount by 1 (to a minimum of 0) instead.

Wounds: 7+1
Fate: (9) 4 Fate points.

Edit: Can I have a houserule that makes it so that I don't have to buy specializations for each xeno? Forbidden Lore is already a specialist skill that eagerly consumes your experience, so having specializations inside a specialist skill is just asking to kill my concept.

Hm... How about this: you get Forbidden Lore for almost all the known Xenos races (Orks, Eldar, etc.) but you wouldn't get as much info than if you'd bought their specific specialization? If you're cool with that, then I'll allow it.

Yeah, I think a good mono sword might be the best idea. I'll scrap the shield.

Hey cheese, can I trade my normal sword for something of the same availability?

Sure.

Once you guys give are all done, post your updated sheets again please, and I'll write the OP for the game.

I didn't mean look forward to it right now :P I just meant that it'd console me, that right before I go, there'll be some answer to look forward to.

Unless you just stop existing, but that's an answer in itself and when it's done, it's done.

I knew I was missing something. You rolled a 10 for fate.

The shield 2 AP to Body and Arm when it's wielded, which stacks with your armor. It also does 1d5 Impact damage and has the Defensive special trait. This means you get +15 to parrying rolls, but a -10 to attack rolls made with a Defensive weapon. In the shield's case, it's a -20 penalty, which is a trade-off for the extra AP.

Become enraged by radio. Attempt to repair radio with heavy percussive maintenance.
Riker assists in this.
