A FUCKING LARGE ASS NOTE TO URIST MCFISHERDWARF:

 NEXT TIME I TURN ON FASTDWARF, REMIND ME TO TELL YOU NO FISHING. SERIOUSLY, THAT'S A FUCKTON OF FISH.

On the bright side, you are now an unofficial noble. I crown you Crayfish King of FishFort, Fishy Fort of Fish. Seriously. That is a lot of fish.

-Your slightly irritated, but also extremely happy overseer.

It may have been a different fish. It was something that shouldn't have been able to kill him.

MILKFISH!

Went to a Fortress, walked in, went up to the deity/minotaur/queen person, and immediately sliced her head off. With novice in my weapon's skill.
Is that normal, or am I exceptionally lucky?

1565
So, is the fort officially dead w/o any chance of reclamation?

1566
Just keep leaving everyone puzzled and pretending it just went way over their heads.

I think that's the strategy that was employed in a lot of people's turns.....

1567
There was once a dwarf named reason
Throughout winter he was freezin'
Come springtime, he was delighted at the season
With the elves he tried to trade
But he met his untimely end at the overseer's blade

I think I just took what Dark said and threw it on the ground, stomped out it's beauty, then shat all over it and turned it into the worst thing ever.

Dear Ponies of Bucklace;

Stop....err..... actually, you're doing good. Keep up the good work, and you shall be rewarded with nicer houses and little things that make life better for you simple little guys.

IS THIS REALLY DWARF FORTRESS

It's a pony mod, and I'm just at the very beginning. I suspect bad things will happen sooner or later.

Dear Ponies of Bucklace;

There is work to be done. Stop spending 2 weeks just feasting on dandelions and sunshine booze.

Mainly, my big problem with it is the coal dust and the metal/rock wraiths. I'm okay with the balrogs and shoggoths, they're rare enough for me to not care about them. Warpstone is an annoyance, but I don't hit it often enough for it to make considerable damage, and it makes cool things.

He said, he was to busy to continue and asked for one of us to try and keep working on it instead. There were a few minor alterations and suggestions, but no one stepped up.

Well, bollocks. At least I know that now, thanks mate.

Granite 1st, 20:

 The miners are hard at work digging out stone and the carpenters have assembled a few houses. Things are going well for Bucklace, and I look forward to our first migrant wave. Hopefully, we'll get a few farmers and herbalists to support our farming industry, and maybe a smith too. We've uncovered all the ingredients for shiny, sharp steel, so that's a good thing. All in all, this place is turning out not to be a waste of some of the Royal Treasury's bits.

So.......
Is HorrorFailed kill?

stuff
....I never knew that. Well, you sir just taught me something incredibly useful. Also, magma. The answer to your problem is large amounts of magma, as he's a lye maker, and even if he's good at it, lye makers are quite common. So magma, or anything that will induce death in him.
