Oh, nice to hear the beta is late-Jan, that way I'll have more time to decide if I want to pay $25 or $100.

While you mention it, we all should leave something that works as a reference to DF or Bay 12 in our harddisk. We can identify each other like this.
I've personally had a "Bay12 - Absolute Niro.txt" on my HD ever since I made my account.

Oh. Well, I'll preorder right now, then, just to make sure. This is basically my dream game if it's what it claims to be.

... Somehow I had no idea this game existed before just now. It seems crazy ambitious though. I hear something about a beta, is that anytime soon?

Certainly more friendly than SA from my experience. That's not saying much, though.
Just a tiny derail, I'll go away after this, but this? ;D
Definitely. :P

Anyways, I wish there was some way to protect yourself other than firewalls and not leaving your IP everywhere. Since there is no firewall that's unbreakable it's basically impossible to become unhackable, which kinda sucks. Once someone is in your system they can fuck you up easily.

Dei, guilt by association is pretty absurd. I could have simply denied any relation to BlackZX or simply told him not to mention me and nobody would have any idea we know each other. Not sure if anyone has noticed but this account is barely a week old, my only previous identity on B12 being as an occasional poster about a year ago. Despite that, I haven't done anything negative to anyone related to this forum at all.

Really, though, I don't see the big deal in letting others become part of the GS. We're a lot of people who can easily camp the logs to find the sinner if anything goes wrong. If anything let's do as Spaghetti7 suggests.

EDIT: On the topic of the GS, would someone please hide the .fwl? I want to put the waterwall there on queue since I don't have one right now, which obviously makes it impossible for me to get in.

Trust in a game like this is honestly not a good idea altogether, so let me propose a new strategy for us to follow: Any time someone talks to you, assume they are attempting to social engineer you and will wipe your HD on first opportunity.

In all seriousness, I've known Black for years and the only time he'd fuck someone over as badly as we've seen him do here is in revenge, which as far as I know is the policy B12 has been following. I told him that if he needed a group he could ask here since quite a few of us play Slavehack, but if you don't want to let him in then I'm not gonna contest it.

That said, dei, I strongly doubt sprog and Black know each other.

Black, might I suggest asking if anybody plays Slavehack of some other community you're part of?

If anyone enters the GS, remember to clear it from your own logs. Especially if you know you have a tendency to leave your own IP on sites.

How do you have a rival in this game? They just IP reset and you will never see them again.
.vtrack? speaking of wich, can someone upload one to the GS?
I usually format when I reset IP so a vtrack doesn't really help in that case.

If Starbound doesn't come out soon I'll have to replay Terraria again, which is honestly getting stale to me after getting Hallowed armor three times.

I just do. Most of the games I play don't require even a mid-range system to enjoy and I still have fun. I wanted to try Ultima Ratio Regum because it too sounded fun.

I have managed to generate an average-sized Earth-like world in about five minutes with my setup. That is about as far as I have gotten though. I am going to test out said world later once I pick a class I like.

-edit- I picked a female Quester and took her on a hike along the snowy plains and up some mountains. Each step took about half a second to a second at most, and about three to five minutes into this venture my computer started to have some difficulties processing all of the data in this game.

Furthermore when areas are loaded it takes about five seconds minimum to finish loading and saving the game takes close to three minutes or so. I would say that my computer's system specifications do not support Ultima Ratio Regum. It strains my computer about as much as Dwarf Fortress does on the settings I put it on for Fortress Mode when the fortress gets to about ten dwarves.
That honestly doesn't sound that bad considering your PC is from 1980.

I decided to delete my max level WWL and follow the riddle trail.

But damn, I can hardly resist the urge to login to the GS and just download dat shit.
I'd never be able to follow the riddle trail so I don't feel bad about cheating. Being stupid pays off.

EDIT: Seriously? Apparently I had a vtrack on me so some dude decided to wipe me again. Won't be playing this for a few days, it seems.

Well, I like how all of his complain are basically all the things Jagex added over the old AoS.
Don't fix what isn't broken, I guess. The whole class thing does feel really gimmicky.
