Oh, never mind what I said about trouble progressing earlier, I just beat the game. Currently sitting on a 2 billion cash pile. I got really close to going bankrupt but managed to pull back impressively, earning over 10 million dollars on one last second game, and then just continuing from there.

Currently on year 60, 30 years after the story ended. My console, the Grand Orca, has about the same market share as the Wuu, and my alien/action MMO is earning me millions.

I like this game. Screw you, GDS, and your portable ways.

Eh, not especially interested in Hackwars, personally. I'm finding it hard to take the game seriously due to weird "combat" system. Not that Slavehack is any more realistic, but it just feels better to me. :P

I admit the scripting is awesome, though.

I personally like Tycoon more than Story, if only because it allows you to make your own console. I'm still waiting for a proper electronic hardware manufacturing simulator, so this is as close as I can get.

Anyways, I'm having a bit of trouble progressing. The garage is easymode, I usually manage to get to the first office with a million or two, but after that it just goes downhill. The farthest I've gotten was the release of the DreamVast, around that point I just can't seem to earn more money than I spend.

What's the people's opinion on turning fat, then using injectors to transform people into monkeys in order to consume them whole?

Koo.

Just wondering if anyone is still playing this? Lots of people from here got banned for some reason, so I'm guessing no, but I've been playing it a little and figured I'd ask. The old GS is still intact, none of the files have been deleted or anything.

I have mild OCD as well as Tourettes syndrome. I barely feel any of them anymore, but when I was younger it was a huge problem - it was literally impossible for me to go more than 5 minutes without having to stop and perform some weird ritual. Control of the impulses came with age, though, and my psychologist doesn't think it'll be a problem again.

You monster, children should be saved before the adults. :'( Triage shouldn't apply for bebbys.

You know what game I want? I want a roguelike where you play an animal in a world after humans have died off. With random towns/areas. And the ability to play as anything from a mouse to a dog to a lion. And PROPER environmental hazards like the weather and maybe even radioactive fallout. And the ability to continue your game when you die by having offspring. And those offspring mutating from said radioactive fallout. So you could possibly get boned by transferring to a sterile child.

Been playing a lot of Tokyo Jungle lately? :P

Whoever got through that section without any help or guide has my respect, it would take some real mettle to dash through that thing blindly.

Seriously? That's, like, the easiest part of Sen's in my opinion.
Well, I suppose it depends on your build somewhat. I found all the combat sections exceptionally easy as a mage, killing the serpents before they even became a threat which just left some easy traps to waltz through. By comparison the fire bombs were instant death on an uphill battle with no visible enemy to kill/evade.

There are combat parts in Sen's Fortress?

Demon Titanite that early sounds kind of useless to me. :P

It's true that the idea of the head being unarmored is stupid, that kinda goes under "unrealistic", just like females warriors wearing basically nothing. The main point is that it looks good, and taste is relative. I personally think huge armor with stupidly large shoulder pads looks cool. It wouldn't fit Skyrim's otherwise realistic universe at all, but in any other game I would have no problem with it.

But I dont see why orcs having that personality implies they should have such ridiculously oversized muscles. Its not like they are "fairly" muscular either. They are ridiculously muscular. Ontop of that, from a personal POV, I do not like that personality and thus don't like orcs.

I dont expect anything to mimic the real world. I can deal with exaggeration to an extent. I don't think the gears of war image looks too bad for example. But that first image looks just outright silly to me. As in "clowns packed into a small car" silly. No one is strong enough to wear the armor in the first image, not even close. just think how thick the metal would be between the armor and the person and how much that would weigh. Not to forget that his arms and legs would have to be substantially longer.

It probably comes back to me prefering character aesthetics that are less brutish and more... "weak" (or at least, not a super-ripped enemy-mass-murdering machine).

Its all my opinion though. I understand that people like the aesthetic and thats fine. Its just really not for me.

Well, it is fantasy after all. In a world where magic is commonplace I wouldn't be surprised to see people strong enough to wear armor like that. If someone's whole life is about fighting and training then surely it would have some effect.

They should make a board game out of this!

PAPERS PLEASE: THE BOARD GAME
A game for the whole family! 100 rubles (Bargain!)
SEE! Whoever among your family is a traitor to Arstozka.
GASP! As you try to determine which passports are fake.
NOD! Whenever you stamp approval to a passport.

Supplied: x9 crayons, x5 blank passports, x1 green approval stamp, x1 red disapproval stamp, x1 detainment cell, x1 torture equipment, x1 highlighter pen for noting discrepencies, x1 tape recorder.

I will not be surprised if something like this exists.

Getting knocked off isn't the problem, the attacks don't have knockback. It's the health attrition. That lightning hurts and it makes you rush and do stupid things like walk into guillotine blades. And then you get knocked off. :P

The serpent people's attacks do have knockback, it's pretty minor though. It's only a problem on the really thin ledges, and when you're very close to the guillotines.

That's more like anime exaggerated (still no fan, but not as bad). I'm talking this kind of aesthetic:

I hope that aethetic dies. I cant stand the absurdly gigantic shoulders/shoulder-armor and the muscles so large that it looks like they drank 10 liters of viniger and bicarb soda. It looks like "HUUURRRRRR, ME STRONG!"

That's pretty much the personality orcs usually have, though.

In my opinion there's nothing wrong with huge armor like that in fantasy - it's not supposed to mimic the real world, so it doesn't have to be realistic. If someone is strong enough to wear armor that ridiculously huge then there's absolutely no reason not to, I'm sure it's much stronger than conventional armor. It certainly looks cooler. :P

There's a serpent throwing electricity at the last catwalk, and I'm pretty sure you need to kill it with ranged attacks. Sometimes you can just ignore it, but I've been blasted off a couple of times.
