I thought they made it so that if 3 uniques were already generated on a floor, more would have a very high chance of not being generated. That might only be in the current trunk, though, I don't remember. Luckily, of those 6, only Harold and Eustachio are real threats. Lots of free Exp!

Well they were not exactly on one floor (Ijub on 1st, Maurice, Edmund and Gastronok on 3rd, and Harold, Eustachio and Norbert on 4th). Still, that's a lot for such a small branch. Good thing they all burned quite well). And yes, now I have ~5k unallocated exp. Nice.

Wait, I thought undead don't go down stairs...

Not all undead, just skeletons and zombies. Personally, I prefer not to trust anyone to raise my zombies for me.
My favorite magic schools are Necromancy (Dispel undead rules!) and Enchantments. That's why my favorite god is Kiku...
Anyway, this time I decided to try clearing Orcish Mines right after I found the entrance (because my char turned out to be a mottled draconian with cool sticky flame) and I found 6 named enemies there (Ijub, Edmund, Maurice, Harold, Eustachio and Norbert). I don't remember meeting so many so close. None of them were not too dangerous or resistant to sticky flame, though.

Edit: Gastronok was there too.

Well... it could be more prudent to just blast hydras with wands or ranged weapons.

Anyway, I'm playing as a Draconian Wanderer and I just encountered a hippogriff upon entering Dungeon:4. Quite out of its depth. I managed to hack it to bits by quaffing a potion of might, but that was quite luck-dependent fight.

Yay! this new version has many cool new features... I already started playing on CAO and guess who killed my first char.

Last time I visited Elven Halls:7 I was quite sure I could take them... and I did, with a little help from my good friend, the skeletal dragon that Yredelemnul sent me. He just stood in the main passage and clawed evefything that came his way into bloody pulp, including 2 master archers and a blademaster. Then I just had to go in and take the spoils...

I have beaten the snake boss with 3-rd level wizard once. Got 3 level-ups for that. Wizard is good for early boss killing, because his spells cost less.

Edit: At last, I have completed every dungeon with every class...
The most challenging one was beating Factory with half-dragon.
Now I'm going to try to get a good score.

Phew... My best time at Ranked is 3:02 with 53k score.

Edit: 1:41

Tikki Tooki is fun, but I didn't find any way of pleasing him short of instakilling monsters. Are there other ways?
Wiki says that "Killing an enemy without taking damage return awards an extra 1% Dodge Bonus and removes Poison and Mana Burn. An extra Health Potion is awarded when you first worship Tikki Tooki as well", so it seems that there is no other way.
Normal dungeon level has 39 monsters (I'm not sure about other dungeons, maybe they contain 40 because they have 2 bosses). To achieve 74% dodge, I had to be a rogue, bought elven boots and killed almost every monster without taking damage... I liked it, so maybe I'll try to reach maximum (79 or 80%) dodge.

There are a few ways to complete Factory with wizard.
The most entertaining way to do it is to find a fireball glyph before killing anyone, then, if you're lucky, find pactmaker shrine. Then, find 7...9 level animated armor and keep hitting it with your weak 4 damage fireball. When you finally kill it (which is not too hard), you will get 4 or 5 levels at once. The rest should be easy.

Well this is fun.
Elven Wizard. Began worshipping Mystera Annur at level 1. I'm currently level 7, my fireball spell deals 28 damage per hit, and I have 53 mana.

Stuff keeps on dying. Fast.
Heh) Of course it is fun! Until you realize that the dungeon boss is Goat (60% resist) or Golem (75%).

The magi god takes a bit of RNG favor to use, honestly.
Anyway, I have absolutly no clue on how to kill Medusa, any tips you guys can offer?
Medusa is not too hard to beat... She has less HP than most other bosses. She can't petrify you if
1)You have 100% HP
2)You are immune to Death Gaze
So, to beat her, you can either buy Stone Sigil (45 gp), or worship Binlor (he grants immunity), or attack her only with full HP (easy to do as a priest with a few healing potions)

By now I have completed Normal, Snake pit and Factory with 12 core classes. My favorite classes are Warlord, Assassin and Sorcerer (although now I like them all, except bonus classes. I haven't tried them yet - decided to leave them for last).

Heh-he. I have just beaten the snake boss with 3-rd level wizard. Got 3 level-ups for that.

Nice game, though I wouldn't call it rougelike (it is more puzzle-like) and certainly not 10-minute)

By now i have completed normal dungeon with all non-bonus classes and Snake Pit with Fighter... So far my favorite classes are Assassin and Warlord.

Heh... that looks unpleasant, but not too dangerous (just teleport away).

I just found a weapon called "Hydrabane". It is a handaxe. Of chopping.
The only way I see it used against hydra is... well you know if you read OOTS.
http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0326.html.

Aww... I decided to check whether I can enslave Antaeus and it cost me a very good char, at least now I know for sure.

Ahh... it's been a long while since I last visited this thread. I'm glad it is still active)

About Royal Jelly - it doesn't regenerate, so maybe it just wandered into a blade trap and killed itself...
Btw, I cleared Slime pits recently too. To deal with RJ, I dug a corridor in a wall and berserked it without interruptions.

I also wanted to ask, have anyone tried to use Yredelemnul's Enslave Souls? Crawl Wiki says that I should read vulnerability scroll... but when should I read it? Before using the ability or before killing the one I want to enslave? I don't want to ruin it.
