If you are going to overclock the cpu you would want the Z77 that way you have all the options

Okay. Any other recommendations?

this one fine then?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131823

What all makes it better than the $95 one? Other than the integrated HDMI (which I won't use) and the surround sound plugs (which I won't use.)

Tell this dumbass to wear the gauntlet and sell everything else except the map (it might come in handy for you. Not so much him; he probably can't even read.) Then he can buy all the goddamn shades he wants.

If he REALLY wants to, he can keep one of the swords because there's PROBABLY some things that cannot be punched fuck that, everything can be punched.

EDIT: Aerie, can you include how good they are at the job? I don't know what to put it at.

Distribute the points evenly.

use DFhack to set up an infinite glass industry.

This sounds like cheating...

That's kind of a big price increase from $95...

And, yeah, I figured. The 120gb SSD is big enough to hold any games and programs that rely primarily on fast data transfer on top of the OS, and the 1TB HDD can be used for music/video/porn collection/not-commonly-played games.

I figure I'll start out with the 1TB, buy the SSD later, and then maybe buy a 600GB Raptor to replace the 1TB.

I don't mean to be annoying, but can can someone answer this?
If I replace [SWIMS_LEARNED] with [SWIMS_INNATE] in the human's raws, (so my companions can swim)
how will that affect allocating points to swimming in the chargen screen? Does it just ignore not a swimmer by allowing you to swim, but still giving the advantages of faster swim speed and ability to be stunned in the water in later skill levels?

[SWIMS_INNATE] lets a creature swim without having learned the swimming skill. That's all it does, nothing more or less.

If you want creatures to be able to naturally swim WELL (i.e. no drowning from stunning) add [NATURAL_SKILL:SWIMMING:3] to their raws.

Or it could be spam.

If you actually read the email, you would know it's not spam.

I'd recommend an Nvidia GPU, though. They're more expensive, but they tend to run into fewer problems with video games because they're so widely supported.

I wanted a 550 ti, but the 6850 performs WAY better for the same price. What would you recommend for under $150?

Also, how high do you think I could overclock the 2500k with that copper CPU heatsink I linked?

oh gawds a 8800, anything is a definite boost over that :P

yea i don't trust that motherboard model to last longer, im switching mine as soon as ivy-bridge E comes out and give my old build to my brother with no assumption that it would work.

What do you think of the updated specs? What motherboard would you recommend?

I chose a 600GB 10000 RPM over a 1 TB 7200 RPM. Twice the price, but I've heard amazing things about the WD Raptor drives (almost as fast as a SSD?)

...without their views, you'd pretty much be LPing to yourself, which I think technically counts as a form of masturbation and who the hell posts videos of themselves masturbating on Youtube?
If we, for a moment, accept and employ your muddled logic, wouldn’t that make having views a form of sex, and who would have sex with random strangers on YouTube?

(excuse my shitty drawing skills, I am left-handed.)

This is not spam mail. Someone signed up for an Adventure Quest account using your email address and they sent you an email to confirm it.

Adventure Quest is one of those online browser games that, like Runescape, Gaia Online or Maple Story, has an overwhelmingly tweenage population. So, if you know any 12-year-old kids that have access to your email address, that's probably who it is.

Too many people, too many people!

Paige did her best to not look conspicuous, although the silver-haired teacher caught her attention. She found it more prudent, though, to focus on getting herself oriented and, when the bell rang, she made it a point to get out of there as fast as possible and make her way over to science class.

She'd probably feel more home there, anyway. Learning science stuff is always interesting! Maybe she'd go to college and become a video game developer or even the president of Nintendo or something and how cool would that be I could make up my own pokemon and everything and and and...

I must disagree. Sock is light thus air resistance has great impact on flight speed and trajectory. Only case I can think of is compressing the sock and throwing it afterwards with great force. Or using a sock so old and smelly that the victim would rather cut his head of than get a single breath with the sock close to his mouths :P

I can't say that's true; the sock could easily be rolled into a ball-like shape (using the elastic of the ankle to hold it in place) and dampened, thus granting enough density to effectively mitigate the effects of drag. The additional mass from the dampness would also assist in decapitation.
