Do you listen to them? This really is the best time to catch the ferrets.
(You will attempt to wear the flowerpot after you make the action.)
Using the flowerpot, catch one of the ferrets. Then wear it as a hat.

Do not buy Lenovo laptops for gaming unless you like using graphics drivers that are years out of date. Due to their silly proprietary graphics switching gimmick, you cannot use the standard graphics driver packages with them and must rely on the seldom-updated proprietary ones.

The problem seems to be that most of your marksdwarves have bone crossbows. Bone is horrible for bludgeoning weapons, and axes will bounce off armor; give them metal crossbows and they'll be able to bludgeon anything to death.
