I've got Anime Portraits on and the cute redhead children that I give land to keep turning into dumb Arabs when they grow up, working in opposite to my purpose of cuteifying the realm. I've already brownified Ireland,  do I have to invade Scotland and get some pureblooded redheads in my realm or is ethnicity a result of culture?

Make sure their parents are 100% redhead and have no Arab blood for at least two generations back. Should make you have the most chance of cuteification.
Ah, OK. I've been trying my hand at artificially changing things by messing with the cultures file, but I guess it's time for some eugenics. My only concern is that they'll self-determine who they marry and dilute their pure genes.

Honestly, if you really wanna be sure, you could revoke everything down to the barons and grant pure irish people titles. Starting from baronies if you can, as it will generate a character of your culture + religion. It won't need much eugenics and you get a few good years from them as the granted title bonus will last for a while.

I found that cavalry in Medieval II aren't all that great compared to, say, Rome. It seems like just about every army has spearmen as basic+ troops, and missile weapons have longer range and greater killing power.

A good cavalry charge can still make or break a battle, and in their own roles (chasing fleeing units, countering ranged units caught in the open, etc) they're still effective, but you can't really win battles just by spamming heavy cav anymore.

Yeaaah. I suppose the big problem was not switching out my mailed knights and hobilars for some other unit type. The Italians are great at defending their castles, who knew :P

Not exactly a death, but it's pretty much a case of 'me overestimating my ability as a general' and 'me thinking cavalry in medieval 2 are the end all be all to warfare.'

Yeah. You can also change things in there and have it be ironman compatible. Such as changing the Abbablob to 'Dickbutt.' I think. If not, then ignore what I just said :P

though really, the localisation stuff is neat. I wish there were more variations on title names depending on culture. Would make looking around the world more interesting. For example, german culture has the various title prefixes be german equivalents while being different from the french equivalents. Basically just make names less the same. Might be just me though :P

Yeah. I prefer the sleek look of the institute weapons instead of the boxy look of the laser weapons. I don't really care for damage, as I carry enough heavy hitters that one 'for fun' weapon is good enough :P

From what I can tell, that's usually a later thing they work on. Even an official release they might still be placeholder CoAs.

Meh. last time I played, most of Morrowind was just ? marks, along with Elswyr and Akavir.

I do kinda hope the next official release has a submod for removing Akavir. I've said it before, but it's basically India :P

Eeeh. I still think I wanna wait until an official release. Personal preference.

Plus, the ? CoAs are really annoying, and hopefully waiting for an official release will fix that.

Even more points if it has an ad that follows the top of bottom of the browser, not the page. So you end up having 10% of the screen cut off by the ad. EVEN MORE POINTS if the ad doesn't resize on mobile, leading to you being unable to zoom in on something.

Gonna say this now because I am still pissed about it.

Boss Fights that are QTEs.

Halo 4 did this and from watching my brother, so does Dying Light. Whyyyy. I'd rather have a piss hard fight against a strong enemy than not.

And for Dying Light, it'd have been way more interesting for the guy you're fighting to just be a stronger human character instead of just a big QTE while the guy monologues at you. I mean, shit. Are boss fights that hard to make?

Are you sure you aren't a Glowing One?

Anyways, on a more serious note, I have no clue. Maybe go file a bug report.

Robbaz is one of my favorite youtubers because of the insane shit.

Though the meat factory seriously, is the most fucked up thing he's done. It's hilarious though. Makes me wonder if he's gonna pull a 'The End of The Cube' on the series once it's over :P

Honestly, I think it's there just so people who are inclined to make awesome factories can. Or flavor. I mean, having a trading post settlement manufacturing weapons to 'sell' is a lot more flavorful than it just being implied.
