The propagation waves are FTL and thusly travel backwards.
D'oh! God should have made it a long int.

spooky action at a distance as they inform what the other particle is doing to everyone else, seemingly at once.
I can't wait until we figure out spooky interactions. I want instantaneous* computing power.

For quantum mechanics it used to absolved some of the paradoxes in some of the interpretation. Not the one that I subscribe to.
And which specific one do you subscribe to, out of curiosity?

Multiverse?

Multiverse: The middle finger to mathematicians.
The middle finger to logic. It double teams with Copenhagen to asplode scientist's heads everywhere.

How much booze do you need to spike the water cistern with to make dwarves forget about it being the active sewer?
Doesn't matter. Put the well in a legendary dining room and they will drink from it without complaint.

I believe it is one of the future goals that none of the things in the game appear out of thin air. I think that was originally about immigrants, but I do think it should be applied to items as well.

I do like this idea because it would give each game more flavor. Each world would have a more unique challenge.

As long as you pay your taxes/tribute, I don't think it should cause any political problems. Personally though, I say yes to this just because I want more action and danger.

I think we should wait a few years before having walking advertisements. Attract people too early, they don't like how it is, they hesitate to come back.

As far as elaborate jokes go, nothing can beat elf treetop city.
That almost had me. It really did.

Can anyone contact the guy who made the DF joke? He really needs to update it. It could be so much better.

Needs more hookers.

I'm not much of one for in your face moral stories, and honestly think very good stories come from stories with much more indiscernible moral grey areas that challenge your own... but that's really well written. I'd expect it in a children's book ala Aesop's Fables.

I'm no writer, so I can't give you any technical critique, but have a pat on the back. They're free*.

People and their actions and their motivations =/= their excuses.
/removetheexcuseandyoustopthecrimes

Nothing that happens inside the universe is not natural.
Not true, the forces of chaos are unnatural.
I thought much of nature was derived from chaos?

How do you remove a thread from the auto-response alert thing?

Occam's Razor: Entities should not be multiplied unnecessarily.
AKA The principle states that the explanation of any phenomenon should make as few assumptions as possible, eliminating those that make no difference in the observable predictions of the explanatory hypothesis or theory.

This razor is applied to the "How". Science has no answer to the great question "Why" besides "because". I've never managed to see the exact incompatibility going on. They both fill in a distinct role. "Belief" I think is a really inappropriate word for what religion is. "Faith" is much more accurate.

Also, what's up with the people who always argued semantics with millennial+ old texts by people from a completely alien culture? Never got that. To keep that relevant, it's generally atheists I've seen going out of their way and spending five hours cross referencing to compile a list of every slight snag.

Don't forget no_fear, no_pain, no_stuckins etc. Up it's temperature tolerance to levels beyond magma temperatures to make it magma proof and give it the tag that makesit automatically a swimmer.

Decaff tea for me. Nothing says "I am a wiener" more effectively in a drinking situation.
