Liquid expansion on freezing, aided by the fact any beer has a fair bit of gas in it, which enhances the expansion :v

Don't let your beers freeze, kids.
That's actually water expansion on freezing. It's IIRC one of the few, or maybe even the only liquid that does that, due to its highly irrational bond structure.
Of the ones I know, molten bismuth expands, and I think gallium and silicon also do. For some reason, when I look this up, I only find elemental liquids, despite being sure that some compounds also do that. I just don't remember which ones.
Still, it's pretty rare.

Sounds like you're going to stab him in the baka.
I get your punnery, but
wherever I am stabbed, that's a stab in the baka
even if you do it from the front-a

My hair has somehow partially rolled itself together into a vortex-like shape, stupid-unrealistic-anime-hair style. What.
Strike a power pose and yell something cringeworthy! Stumble face-first into some girl's tits! Enter a somewhat homoerotic relationship with your best friend! Stand on a lamppost in a dramatic gale! Steal a giant mech! Not necessarily in that order! You know what to do, anyway!

VA-11 Hall-A.
it's so fucking good
Good enough to get on a minor sale? I've been thinking about picking it up during the Winter Sale, but...

Nah. Get it on a major sale.
At best it's worth two playthroughs, and then it's done.
I mean, I put in four already, and the game itself doesn't cost all that much, but sure, I guess.
Would actually recommend getting it, sale or no.

...I hope you don't mind the jokes. Like, I see the humor in this situation (TSA agents feeling threatened by your junk is kinda funny), but like, I hope this doesn't make you feel like it's your discomfort that is being laughed at here. Because, I mean, I get how that would be extremely uncomfortable and you have every right to be kinda disturbed by it.

I'm finally done with all the exams, yay!!!!11one
So am I! </highfive> My marks are also not necessarily shit! For example, I got a 10/10 in databases and the same in NeuroLing. Kinda flunked machine learning again, but I won't have to retake it, and I learned a few things about tensors while preparing for that exam, so I guess that's alright.
Now work! That is, a confusing amount of other people's code that I somehow have to get to function for me before New Year. Eh, I guess I can deal.
I don't even know what half of these words mean!

(should I feel bad for acing all my exams?)
Yes. Yes you should, you absolute monster.</sarc>
What kind of exams were those, though?

If you can acquire Discworld books (I have them on my phone, for instance), those are incredibly funny.
If you have ideas you want to write down, you can do that on a phone too (google docs? I like onenote, but don't know if it's on android/ios).
I know.
I read them all. Few times.
I've read fucking encyclopedias out of boredom before, though, so I guess I can read Discworld again.
There's also Watts' Blindsight series. It's rather hard SF. He's a gloomy and pretentious fucker, but all in all not a bad writer.

Thing one: Washing Tom Yum soup down with beer seems like a bad idea at first. It is not. It is the best idea. It feels like the food equivalent of taking a hot bath.

Thing two: the vestibule of the metro station near my uni always has the best street musicians. A month ago it was a full-fledged brass band, today it was a guy with a cowboy hat and a... wossname, double-necked Arab mandolin thing. A sitara? He was pretty badass.

This is still a rather derp plot. "Uhuh, yes, I guess, we are an ageless, super-advanced species, should we devote all our resources to solving this end of the universe thing? Naaaah, we'll waste them on harvesting a bunch of primitives to see if they have something".
It's like if human climate scientists tried to solve their problems by catching a bunch of rhesus macaques and torturing them for information. You know, just in case those monkey bastards are hiding an easy solution to global warming from us.
