For some reason, when I look this up, I only find elemental liquids, despite being sure that some compounds also do that. I just don't remember which ones.Liquid expansion on freezing, aided by the fact any beer has a fair bit of gas in it, which enhances the expansion :vThat's actually water expansion on freezing. It's IIRC one of the few, or maybe even the only liquid that does that, due to its highly irrational bond structure.

Still, it's pretty rare.

Now work! That is, a confusing amount of other people's code that I somehow have to get to function for me before New Year. Eh, I guess I can deal.

Thing two: the vestibule of the metro station near my uni always has the best street musicians. A month ago it was a full-fledged brass band, today it was a guy with a cowboy hat and a... wossname, double-necked Arab mandolin thing. A sitara? He was pretty badass.
