"Get ready, this one's a good sized fighter!"
Reel it in.
[3 vs 3] You pull with all your might, but the whole situation remains a stalemate. [1]You try to shift your stance, but trip over your feet and fall flat on your stomach, sliding rapidly over the ice. Then, your slide is suddenly interrupted as Moshe grabs your feet and pulls in the other directon, [6+1] hauling the creature out of the water to face you.
It's about a meter and a half long and hairless, with an elongated maw full of sharp little teeth. It squats low on four legs tipped with strange wide claws, for digging the ice, probably. It also has the most malevolent stare this side of Samuel L. Jackson and its breath smells like a dead skunk on a hot day. And it's staring you right in the face.
Right. In. The. Face.

"Now, we fish. If we need more room we can throw more grenades in there, but for now this should suffice. Just be ready in case we get attacked. Good fishing."

FISH!
You uncoil the rope, tie the hook, and get some dried meat on it with reasonable difficulty: it greatly resembles a boot sole. You're glad you're not going to be eating it. Then you get your pistol out and lay it on the snow near you, while Moshe unslings his rifle and takes aim at the hole in the ice. Planting your feet firmly, you throw the line into the water. [4] Almost immediately, you feel something pulling on the line, jerking it down furiously. It must be about the size of a large dog, judging by its strength. [4] You slide a bit, but maintain your balance and stop it.

3423
"Step back, please."

Plant the melting grenade in the ice.
You plunk the grenade down and set the timer, then you and Moshe both scramble the heck away and watch. There is a flash and a cloud of superheated steam. When it clears, you see that you have blown [3] a sizable hole in the ice.
"Man, I liked fishing back on Earth, but this is just awesome. What do we do next?I have a bag of frags..."
((Gamerlord, bumpity-bump.))

3424
((Fucking gosh, I'm sorry! I'm not Hitler! I apologize! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7r4e5Wg4PDI))
- Truly, we're better to go inside. Beasts could smell the blood already.
Follow McGaw, my machinу gun in me hands and my rifle behind my shoulder.
Sean follows, keeping a close eye on her.

Kathryn waves off the hovering helpers.

"I am fine. I have suffered no long term damage, and am still able to move under my own strength. The people inside the Jah Home need help much more than I. I refuse treatment. Let's go."

With that, she rises groggily from the hover and moves toward the door.

Action: Enter Dat ship

Pick her up and carry her inside, head into another room and close the door to conserve heat.
You all enter through the torn doorframe in loose formation, Kathryn going first, then Sean and Chester, and finally Will and Williams. You stop inside: it's dark. ((Before anyone asks, the exo has a headlight, the Saigons have lamps, and your glasses have a night-vision mode, even though it's not very effective - it makes everything very grainy.))

3425
((Wait a second. And what in blazes happened to Willams in this whole mess?))
((Nothing. Why should anything have happened to her if she wasn't even in the hover? Also guize, if you want to kill each other to death, at least do it in character.))

3426
(( It's a 1, 1 generally means epic failure and serious injuries for all involved. Not a total success and a tap on the head. ))
((Well, I just supposed that you don't want to mill about near the door any more. But still, complications. The hover's window is now broken, so it's as cold inside as it is outside. And the doc gets a penalty to mental rolls for cause of her headache. "Mental rolls" involve sewing your guts back in, in case you ask. But all right, I'll make 1's more faily from now on (you asked for it, he-he). Apologies to everyone concerned.))

3427
(( Oh didn't read it, but that shouldn't really have worked realistically. ))
((Whyever not? The hover has a rather powerful engine, and the door was weakened already. Or are you just jelly because you're less powerful than a three-ton motor vehicle?))

3428
I yell at the sky:
- SCREW THIS DOOR AND THE GODDAMNED PLANETS LOWERED GRAVITATION!!
Then run to see if McGaw is wounded.
Sean picks up McGaw.
"You okay miss?"
((I don't know, am I? I'm guessing by the smash cut with no further information I was killed instantly.

It was fun playing the game with you guys.))
Everyone rushes over to see if the doc is okay. She seems to be fine, except for a rather nasty bruise on her forehead.
Your head is ringing, but it doesn't feel like you're quite concussed. You'll probably get away with a headache.
Wede the bomb into a hole I made then move to a safe distance.

Stand back you lot lets try this way first.

Shoot the bomb to trigger it.
((They just tore the door out.))
Start heading out to the nearest water source, frozen or not.
((You're on the river already. I interpreted "Proceed" as "Proceed with the whole fishing thing".))

3429
((just haul it by hand))
((Dear Lord, that is most awkward thing to do with a door intended to hold vacuum and quite a rough landing. Of course I meant to tie it to the hover.))
((It's not intended to survive the landing - it's shot off in the normal circumstances. But yes, I see your point.))
(( I have a bomb on hand :P. But first. ))

Approach the doors pad, use my shock hands on the control to overload it and make the door open, if that fails punch through the door and rip a hole in it.
You approach the door and put your hand to the circuits. With a twitch of your fingers, you empty the capacitor into the panel. It seems to accomplish nothing beyond further melting the circuitry. The whole system is fried, and several important wires have probably dripped away. You shake your head, then punch the door several times, your arm making a buzzing sound as it travels through the air. [5]You succeed in punching several holes through the door. Getting your hands into the holes, you pull, but stop when your chest and your arm sockets are shot through with sudden pain. Of course, you think to yourself. The exo is braced together with metalloceramics, while your arms are attached to flesh. Trying to rip the door apart is basically betting on your chest being stronger than metal, which it evidently isn't. Yet.

- Let's try that. Actually, if that doesn't work, I think we'll have to return to base to get mining laser. And that call of loot at the edge of hearing slowly drives me mad
Action: go with Willams, get one end rope, then fix it at the door and shout to Willams to fix another.
Williams goes and gets the rope from her pack, ties it to the hover's hauling hook, and then throws you the other end. You catch it and thread it through the holes Will made, then tie it with a triple knot.
[1] The doctor revs the hover's engine and the rope goes taut. For a few seconds, nothing happens, then the door tears out of its frame and goes whirling through the air, narrowly missing Sean and slamming into the hover's back window, shattering the armored glass. The craft lurches, throwing McGaw head-first into the windshield.

3430
((Wait, are you guys attempting to tie the rope to the hover, or just haul it by hand? I believe P means the former.))

3431
- Do we have some kind of good rope? We could try just to tear it from its frame, as it is weakened by my effords now. I hope.
"I kind of still have that rope I tried to pull Sean out of the river with. It should be sturdy enough."

3432
((I don't think he came with us, and he's off line anyway))

"Well, this should be simple, right? We need to jump start the door-enough power to open it. Let's use the spare battery in the hover."

Action: Kathryn connects the spare battery from the hover to the door panel, hopefully giving it an electric jump and opening it.
((I think he's with you. He mentioned wanting to come. All right, let's act as if he's provisionally there, especially since he's offline anyway.))
You pry the panel cover off to get at the circuitry, and grit your teeth silently. The insides of the panel are thoroughly fried, with melted circuits having burned through the PCB. What now?

3433
I'm pushing my left hand through the hole and trying to find some kind of lever or control panel or whatever
You get your hand in and fumble about, trying to find another panel on the inside. There is one, but it's as unresponsive as the one on the outside. Crap.

3434
"Right."
Back up, let ^ take the lead.
You step aside to let Chester pass.
Trying to force doors open by brute-force
((I mean not to knock it out, but to push them somehow))
[4]You plant your feet firmly against the ground, then slam your shoulder into the door and push. The supports of your exoskeleton creak, and the door groans. After some determined pushing and grunting, you manage to bend the edge of the door a bit. The hole's not large enough to squeeze through, but you can get a hand in.

3435
Check out control pad.
You try to activate the pad, but its touch-screen stays dead and silent. You poke at it some more, to no avail.
