Abbeycogs the abysmal death of burning
I would change burning for stabbing. Because halberds.

((I'm glad you are find new enthusiasm in this game, Harry))

Practice levitating the jar and moving it around smoothly.

((Yes, I'm aiming to use Tedium Mastery with this, just because I do not want the RNG to screw with me each time I want to move.))

The King must be an elf named Cacame!

Anyway, for the name, I suppose we need something original, that can't be searched in google to find this thread. Granitebeards is nice, but maybe we can get something better than that. I'm out of ideas, though.

((Wow, this is updating fast))

Hmmm, a weak focus... better try to do that while being nearer, maybe the range of the focus is lower and thus Sigmund needs to be closer to its target.

carry focus peeble near the stone jar, magically make it hollow, but leave a thick wall to protect the future contents.

Allright, I have Jewel Cities now. It has 1 prosperity, so please come and kill monsters here. It doens't have a blacksmith either. It is going to be tough to make this an important city.

By the way, do you recommend lowering taxes? If so, how much?

Hey, what about if we get a "Trade requests" post/page? Here, people who are in need of an item would just say it and anybody who finds them would know that the item is desired, thus facilitating thread. It would also allow for item transportation from town to town, to make turns efficient.

I support starting a new thread once the kingdom is made. I have a character at level 15, so I will be taking Jewel Cities soon. I do not need help, as I already beat the whole garrison yesterday (unfortunately, as I only had one character, I had to kill the mayor with only that one as the party, which led to me being unable to appoint him, because that would lead to me having no characters in the party).

As for the begginners guide, we should make a compendium of safe monsters to fight at low levels.

((So, have I stabilized? Or do I have to keep making will rolls to keep my badger body? Or do I have not enough knowledge of this?))

Check the knots of the peeble to determine whether I did a good job or not. If it is ok, shape a thick but hollow stone sphere, enough to contain the pile of flesh, then practice levitating it around and moving it. ((Portable phylactery! hehehe))

To the Shaman:

Do not blame the creatures who saw your attempt at getting knowledge for defending themselves. They can't comprehend you. What would you think if something bigger than you catched you by an arm and shook you? Would you feel what those animals felt? Rage leads to even more rage. There is no need to make enemies, only to defend yourself and your tribe. And those animals are not a threat, they weren't one before, and they are not attacking you now. Talk to your apprentice, ask him what he thinks of the creatures...

"Ignore this obvious cave monster loving spirit. He seeks only to destroy and allow his precious cave monsters to survive! Quickly before he warns the cave monsters, lead the mushroom men to destroy them!"
(To shaman)  ::) thee can be insane sometimes so just ignore them right now. There being over dramatic and crazy.

I'd rather say that there are different points of view, but yes, better to ignore this rattle for now...

It is up to you, shaman, to judge the wisdom of our words. It is you who has to ask yourself whether the bloodshed is worthy or not...

(To odd-eyes)

Those creatures have no interest in your people. But what about if you make them interested? They eat the same stuff as you, how about if you offer food? Would they react nicely towards the fungal hand which feeds them? Think about it

Negative speed rolls make you lose a turn, or just perform movement actions. If not, all the guys who didn't bother to put a single point in spd will end up losing too many of them.

Also, you can't lose two turns in a row, even if you roll negative

and as soon as I get hit I die...
Not exactly. Each size of small reduces the destroyed threshold of a standard limb by 1. So, actually, not any strike would kill you, but only those of 4 or more. So, against somebody without a bonus, you only have a 1/2 chance of losing a limb upon being hit. Of course, if it is the head, you die.

That only applies to melee, though. Magic has too many different mechanics to talk about it.
