Titus was already jogging towards the spot before the word go, arms wide and shouting.

"For your BEST of INTERESTS, lines APROACHIN'! Now FOLD those arms IN, 'lest I MISS, HAHhaha!" He caught Galen none-the-less, the fall cushioned with the bandit's bulk. Titus sat the shaman down in the safe(r) spot with a laugh.

"Better be CAREFUL, you'll make the PEGASUS n' WYVERN jealous! FLYIN' MAGE! That's some WORLD ENDIN' stuff there!"

Titus moves to [9,14], Tradescue Galen from Cyrus, drops Galen on the only available spot [10,14]!

Sorry.  I was really hoping for Cyrus to move so I could use my javelin without retaliation, let him take care of the archer with his superior damage output, and stick to the hills to help with evasion against my low HP until the next turn came around, but if need be, I'll take the open terrain.

Nobody is the 'planner' for FEF5 from what we've seen and nobody wants to take up the mantle (for good reason), so we're trying to go back to how we did things in (parts of) FEF1.

So we have to have a heavier focus on communication and idea spinning instead of how we got used to doing things and push it off to being "the planner's problem." If you had a better or different idea than the really brief (honestly just an excuse as to why we haven't posted our actions yet and a basic thought of what we might do) one we had, we would have loved to hear it instead of having it being a drive-by comment that was too late to act on.

We hoped Lizbeth would move too, but we said so openly, said why and presented a possible scenario, and didn't commit on the actions on the case that we or someone else might have thought of something better since it involved other people's characters. In this scenario it doesn't really matter because besides the two bosses or unfortunate circumstance we aren't really in any sort of honest danger, but that makes it a good test bed to get the process straightened out.

TL;DR
Don't apologize, converse.
And
Communication is key and all that.

On the note of communication, and to not double post, FOE and I are debating some Galen-Football (read: trade shenanigans mixed with rescue shenanigans) to retain defensive terrain and to move our heavy artillery that is Galen away from the soon-to-be sea of red frontline. Since having six or so enemies who can punch out our squishy but powerful mage is worrisome.

Cynbel decides to go investigate, offering the others a chance to join before moving to get a closer look. If nothing else, gives him the opportunity to move about with a purpose.

274
Cynbel decided to take the captain up on his offer readily, moving from the boat to the sands and easing his cramped muscles. The Son of the Wild couldn't quite say he greatly enjoyed travel by ship. Too confining. Too out of his element. But the man is determined to learn to enjoy it somehow.

But that is later. For now, his curiosity is peaked. "Abandoned? Unrepairable? Curious." The Son of the Wild gestured towards the rotting longboat. If this area was so well traveled, he's surprised it wasn't stripped for parts or wood if it was useless. Surely it can't be too recent if its rotting...?

Take:
- Large Basket with the stuff in it (1)
- Leather Armor (Wear)

Basket for trade, armor because I'm gonna be the other melee guy.

"I'll be the first to admit that I'm not familiar with magic, but walls between don't mean much to getting a bead on your targets, do they?" It was an honest question.

"I'm here to stop their charge and gain us the initiative, there isn't much point to staying after." Aur was confused, but tried not to show it. Was it normal for mages to want to rush into rooms filled with enemies first? Miranda isn't exactly a normal mage, though, but Noel seemed more proper. Perhaps not?

277
"Maybe she means for us to be good readers or flashy perhaps." Xoddahs sniggered to himself.

278
"You and I have very different mindsets." There was no other jab or chide, the shaman merely confused.

279
"That's... More serious than I was expecting." Aur was put off from his joking by the answer. "I... Suppose its not my place to judge. Harsh lands make for..." The knight stopped himself and put his mind on the task.

"They won't get past me, seems my worry was for naught."

280
"No idea. MMO story-lines tend to be pretty questionable in quality. Can't say I care too much, considering our situation."

281
FOE and I are waiting on Culise, if she moves from the hill we can kill the bandit with an iron axe. We may want to try and move Galen further back, he's in range to the northern front and that won't be pretty. Titus and Cyrus can dig in on the hills, but he'll be exposed.

282
"Kerr!" Was the heads up his brother got as Aur moved past him to [17,5], positioning himself solidly where the ruined door once was and braced his spear against the enemy's charge.

"Nice work on the door. Think we should knock him unconscious and bring him as a prisoner? Still technically returning him." The knight doesn't seem too worried about the array of forces in front of him as he joked.

283
Xoddahs rose an eyebrow. "Really? I got roughly five hundred on me as personal. Well, we can give it a little test with these wolves then, big one has sixty on 'em."

The man smiled at the healer's comment, invigorated. "FINALLY, someone understands it! We shouldn't be fleeing from tough fights, we should keep pushing ourselves at them until we overcome them. Want to live as much as anyone else, but that won't happen if we keep taking the safe path. If we can't defeat this wolf, how can we expect to beat the main story?"

284
"Well, rather hard for people to determine what happens to money when its in your own pocket, eh? But, course, you actually need to take risks and kill things to get it."

285
"Ah, Sol, you wound me. To think, I go to the trouble to round up some enemies so I can help you earn your fake-booze money and this is how you repay me. Well, if that's how you feel I suppose..."
