Say that Mauve was the one responsible for the death Lionel, because she wanted vengeance against our overlordness and had a pact with Hell.
+1.  Great suggestion to my thinking.

Truth.
+1, we aren't going to get that sample off her are we?

Also,
[whining at the GM] But... but you said that we have 2 of every major zoo animal! What about tigers? And bisons? And we still have the rhino and the hippo whose mutagens we used for making beastmen![whining at the GM]

We do not have any animals left for drama preservation purposes, right?

The main reason why I want Cheerie dead/incapacitated is because the is a complete whackjob with a large supply of plutonium. This cannot end well.

Actually, if sentience gives our cogs buddy system, then I change my vote to support the notion of self-aware cog production. Buddy system is very powerful indeed, it almost doubles the combat bonus!

Keep the splintercog alive and functional until we can disassemble him while keeping his mind intact. His skills are impressive.

Do not build self-conscious combat cogs. Making our cannon fodder able to realise that it is cannon fodder is a recipe for disaster.

Make another liondor for Cerulean, then show her the mantle.

Sacrifice a bit of Cerulean/a drop of Psysquid's blood and the mantle.

Mutate: alligator with whale
            wolf with boar
            bear with elephant
            wolverine with Knighthowl

Build some wufflecogs.

Cogify the fan - we need to see what fleshcogs can do.

On the cheerie subject, I think that we could use the attack from the heroes as an opportunity to kill everyone, or maybe have Cheerie as an ally when she is about to die and we save her, or something like that.

I wonder what happened to Nausicaa? Murder is so not Gamington's style, but we did not acquire her, so...

YAY, it's back!

Choose sonic emitting equipment for maximum damage.

In regards to our current losses, mutants are very replaceable since we have 2 of every major zoo animal - in he downkeep we can recreate all the warbeasts lost, and more.

Too bad we cannot recreate the hunter - I liked him.

Still, I propose that we sacrifice a suit of spiky armor with a sword from our luxury collection and a jet black cape. Then mutate the resulting (hopefully) dark knight with lion or knighthowl mutagen.

Not our soul, that is way too dangerous.

Now, the souls of others, that's fair game.

And I am sure the guys in hell will love all those tyrants and murderers we are going to send them.

Unless you intend the above statement to be a satire of my cogification proposal, I would suggest rereading the thread. Cerulean has so far not been sacrificed because she is masterfully written and very sympathetic.

You monster.

Oh wow, that was unexpected. I have been called a monster. On bay12 forums.
Ok, I may have gone too far. Anyway that was mostly to check how unattached we got to Cerulean as a whole. One would say I may be more out-of-touch with things then most. Will keep from suggesting things until I get into stuff again.

I hope you read that in GLaDOS's voice. Because otherwise it wouldn't imply hypocrisy on my part  :P.

If we were deep enough in excrements to make sacrificing one of our surrogate family members necessary, I am quite sure Gamington would volunteer, actually.

EDIT: But Cerulean willingly giving her life to protect her adoptive father also seems quite in character.

Edit: What do you guys think, sacrificing Cerulean so we can get the bigger, meaner, most devilish devil that ever came to existence and conquer crap with it? +1 everyone? =D

I don't agree actually. While plot armor will probably result in us going unharmed, it closes some opportunities, and might not be that beneficial.

Caution is, of course, the best choice of action, but I do wonder what kinds of opportunities it closes. I mean, nobody saw our face yet behind the mask, and even if they did, do you honestly believe that our father would think twice before going for the kill? The man runs a semitheocratic dictatorship, and if that was not enough, he was shown as perfectly willing to brainwash his son into becoming his ideal vision of a hero.

And besides, announcing that we are/have The Hero would most likely result only in everybody trying to kill us even harder.

Just wishing to know the public opinion and ready to be proved erroneous.

We should seriously consider cogifying ourselves. Not only it makes us less of a hypocrite, but cyborgs are significantly better than humans. My friend got a mechanized prothetic hand two weeks ago and he loves it.
