Since we are talking about the Soviet songs, here's another famous one. It doesn't have the same effect without the lyrics, unfortunately, so here's an English adaptation of it.

Silk bondage gear is, unfortunately, not something I can afford to buy right now. So I am referring to this instead.

Let me tell you about the wonders of Photoshop!

This is an exceptional cotton and silk trousers. It is studded with iron and decorated with black and royal blue selvedge. On the item is an image of Gustin logo in cow leather. The object is slate grey with titan dye.

The item fits perfectly.

Yes.

Well, Sheb, my opinion on Medvedev is similar to that of Guardian: passably competent, somewhat pro-western, not really a puppet, all in all not bad, but not that good either.

Not being an economist myself, I have to trust my successful businessman dad on this, and he says 2 years, maybe 4 in the absolute worst case scenario.

I don't think Putin's going to leave office until long after the current crisis has passed.

The funny thing about minorities in Russia is that while our lifestyle (LGBT, etc.) minorities are indeed having a fairly hard time, our national minorities are pretty much having money thrown at them, and I am not talking just about Chechnya, Tatarstan, for example, is also one of the main targets for Russian social spending. The consensus seems to be that it's a counterseparatism measure that was implemented by our favorite alcoholic Yeltsin and that nobody in the government bothered to change since then, even though the populace of everything except Chechnya and Dagestan in Russia is Russian enough in language and culture for ethnic tensions between various peoples to be negligible.

@UR: It's not the form, it's the spirit that matters.

@Arx: Thank you.

@Sheb: Soviet cinema is best cinema. Especially when compared to the abyssal horror that is the contemporary Russian cinema viewer scamming business.

Ah yes, argumentum ad Hitlerem.

Seeking compromise with most of the other dictators ended rather well for the world, by the way. Look up all the imperialism in the 17-19th century

Which version?

Ah, so it comes down not to facts, but to interpretation, Sheb. You say that compromise is impossible, I say that it is the only solution, and I think that arguing about that is pointless, to be frank.

Crossing the street at red lights completely irregardless of the number of cars on the street is, on the other hand, a well-noted Russian tradition. There are many fun YouTube videos where you can observe it.
