Stoat tales is busy with work, and says he will take it up in a few days.

You should take that opportunity to finish scourge728's year Lunardog15. How much damage could you do in half a turn?

Last I checked, it was about 130 something dwarves, so not hundreds
Of course,  he will go on to torture other, unhapier, dwarves afterwards.

So... It flips over to Stoat tales then... I'll PM him, let's see.
Snow dwarf would probably agree with putting your turn on the "Anytime after the current" list, let's ask him.

Alright, alright, Lunardog15 has only been at the asylum for a month, he is still getting used to it...

I've PMed comicraider to check the thread and decide if he wants to take this turn.

However, you totally should go for it, Lunardog15. How will you gain experience if not by the suffering of hundreds of dwarves?

Alright, so... Lunardog15? Does he play the rest of the year only? The rest of the year + 1? Someone takes the rest of the year and give it to him on spring?

The squads (including I think atleast one of the weapon squads) weren't set to active/training and as far as I can tell, had pretty much no training whatsoever, and yes, I DID kinda miss the last few turns

Oh, ya, I think I hadn't put the marksdwarves to train yet and the reserves had their own alert called "Reserve Rotation" while the Garrison uses "Garrison Rotation", i think.

EDIT2:So turns out, most of the military squads weren't set to actually train...so I've fixed that for the future

You may have missed the previous turns, the four reserve squads train three months of the year and work as civilians for the rest. Only the small weapon specific squads train all year.

Or you want them to train all time, then go ahead.

By the way, The Garrison will have some soldiers training and others guarding the two towers all year long, and they do not have armor. The Marksdwarves have armor and are to train all year long, but not guard the towers. The reserves squads are assigned bronze armor, but I'm not sure there are 40 sets of armor for all of them right now.

There may or may not be less than forty, buy you may or may not have made that enough.

Should I take this turn as well or pass it to next person in line?

Hold up, PMed "Scourage" :P right now, first to reply takes the turn.

>I was sure I had put a bridge there to prevent that though...

Yeah, and I had a bad time flicking that lever on and off not seeing the brigde being raised(blind me).
Did you check the Notes to see what the levers did and where stations were?

I think we can retire this guy, he was from the 2nd reserve.

Both hands, ouch!
Don't remember if the bug where lacking [grasp] body parts generated a cancellation span when trying to bathe, guess we will know soon.
Maybe set profession of those dismissed "Retiree" or "Disabled", they already have only inconsequential labor enabled anyway, what little they can do should keep them mentally healthy.

Everyone be careful sending the Garrison around, since they have no armor. Consider sending the marksdwarves instead, who have a better chance of being alive long enough for help to arrive in case of siege or the like. (Also so that the towers stay staffed)

Since you mention a small abundance of dogs, let's try to chaining them around the towers to detect ambushes, since we don't have the C&OLEWS in the surface anymore, and solve two problems at once.

Farther into the horizon:

Do you like the idea of actually generating the music that dwarves make and playing it during gameplay? Do you think using tools like Magenta make it feasible?

Right now however:

Will visitors and diplomats be able to start trouble? Will we be able to punish visitors and maybe demand reparations from a diplomats civilization?

Sounds like you live in a rural area near the frontier, in which case... yeah I have no doubt reception is absolute dogshit. Just, don't generalize when talking about a continent-sized territory.
Capital actually. Still trash mostly everywhere, no idea how it is up north, that being why I mentioned Southern Brazil only.
I stand by my claim that gsm sound quality is atrocious though.

5th timber
Good news, The reservoir is full! Bad news, it is overflowing

The lever was pulled. both filtering pump were put to work
I was sure I had put a bridge there to prevent that though...

By the way, I would get the speardwarves alone to go on it, since it has internal organs and should die cleaner like that.

Bah, who needs functional programming when you can just overload 73 functions in the same operator.
