Likotamid Zes Amug, Inklistened the Brand of Fog, the adamantine short sword, or Rifotkurel, Blocklion, the platinum warhammer?

the sword has better decorations, but I like blunt weapons more.

also the hammer lord has one more kill than the swordmaster.

I really like the titan idea, but I also want to suggest a few things

1) You can only befriend one forgotten beast/titan/demon in a playthrough. we all know how overpowered most FBs are, let alone one with armor on.

2) if the deity dies, all dwarves get a -10 happiness penalty, labelled "was sad to see a god die recently". all worshippers get a -100 happiness penalty, labelled "was devastated to see his/her god die recently".

3) if the plated beast dies, all soldiers get a -50 happiness penalty, labelled "felt afraid by the death of the plated warbeast recently." they also get a fighting ability decrease equivalent to being dizzy for half a year.

4) if the beast of wealth dies, all workers experience a -30 happiness penalty, labelled "was discouraged by the death of a titan/beast lately.", all workers receive a decrease in crafting ability equivalent to being [hungry/thirsty/tired] for half a year.

5) if allied beast dies, all dwarves get a -10 happiness penalty, labelled "was discouraged by the death of a titan/beast lately."

6) if you ally yourself with a beast, there is a 50% chance of a demon appearing in the next goblin siege. if you manage to kill that demon, the goblins will never appear with another demon.

it's kind of a trojan horse idea.

i forgot to mention. when all the caravans reach the trade depot, an ambush notice plays. all merchants draw their swords and start attacking.

this will only happen with Elves or Humans and only when you have been attacked by them once before.

when this event happens, elves will bring one soldier with them per merchant, and humans have two soldiers per merchant instead of one.

once all the caravans reach the depot, an ambush notice plays. all wagons/pack animals die and all merchants become soldiers and all the human/elven soldiers start attacking.

another cue would be that pack animals will not be carrying any trade goods.

started a new squad of marksdwarves with absolutely zero experience in marksdwarfship.

my reasoning is that 10 rookie marksdwarves are still deadlier than 10 rookie fighters.

I've heard of people who have done ten before. you have to start on a pocket world and kill every sentient you see. then kill yourself.

bonus if you do it with challenge 9.

challenge 9 requires a little set up, but it shouldn't be that hard to set up.

basically I tried (emphasis on try) to think of the ten most random challenges and see other try to complete them.

1 ) Black Knight: survive having all your limbs chopped off then kill 10 people while limbless.

2 ) Fear the night: wrestle a boogeyman to death

3 ) Armok's blessing: cover yourself in the blood of 20 different enemies

4 ) Coward: throw a chicken at a fleeing enemy. the chicken can be a corpse

5 ) Volcanoic Sacrifice: somehow get an enemy (bonus if megabeast) to fall into a volcano

6 ) Corpsing: kill a necromancer with a corpse

7 ) Village wars: start a loyalty cascade in a village

8 ) Flash Freeze: force an enemy to freeze itself in water

9 ) Klutz: kill yourself in a cave in

10 ) Servant of Thanatos: start an age of death/emptiness.

i order my marksdwarves to station instead of kill and they will shoot at any golblin that comes near them, whether or not they can path to them.

i forgot that i locked the doors to the caverns.

One dwarf, my armorer in training, threw a tantrum because her shoes wore away.

luckily, she didn't go beserk and i managed to pacify her in time with dwarven beer and mandates for steel leggings.

looking solely at the shear values, which determine damage for discs, platinum is actually slightly inferior to copper while superior to silver.

the clean-up from my last siege has finally been complete. the meat shield dwarven guards will be dearly missed.

i realized there is a blind spot in my fortications. i decided to fix that by plating weapon traps in those blind spots.

there's still a lot of prisoners left over from the previous siege. to eradicate them, i decided to start a new group of marksdwarves, all with zero exp. the execution drop is working fine. goblins always break their bones, which means free shots and no retaliation.
