This -isn't- a freeform game. It would be weird for one character to free-form while the rest don't  .

This. I didn't put 'em coz I missinterprited OP.

Also, you still need a primary and secondary affinity. That's what gets you your moves. It's also why things don't have Dark and Almighty attacks until level six.
