Start healing peeps. Begining with myself.

Buffalo's Rest.

I will point out there were hardly ever any combat arguments before Akroma came along.

11826
Better than any of Akroma's previous suggestion.

They shouldn't happen to begin with.

"Don't look so down."

Ah, but that makes it's own kind of problems when a character should have won but the GM decides that losing would be a better option. Combat helps define who should win. Just too much balance becomes the major issue.
Obviously if the GM thinks that it's true. And there's no reason that the character in question would have if that's the case.

also it creates tense moments, without them being pre-defined and the GM thinking "hmm, now we should have a tense moment"
It creates bitching about how powerful the opponents in question are.

I actually think that removing combat could be a good idea. Since pretty much all the stupid arguments stemmed from them. After all, GMs should know if the heroes would win or lose.

"I'll introduce you when he gets back from his business trip." Asada ignored the thanks, she was helping in a way, but it felt closer to handing a wolf a baby and hoping that it takes a liking to it, instead of eating it.
Virgil puts a hand on Asada's shoulder.

To be honest, I kind of want to see the rebellion fail. Or like, just see people stop wanting to join because of our pretty bad methods.

That is a bold strategy. It might pay off, but there is a risk of frying the brain useless for our own purposes, I think.
Really, nothing will really be lost if we can't get the brain anyways, at least in the long term.

Well, if you don't get the brain, it might make it take a bit longer for Steve to eat the entire galaxy.
Perfect!

When was the last time an actual mage did though?
