"Nah, my Ex-wife was a prostitute. If you think killing for a living is bad, at least people have some respect for you. And you already are ready if someone wasn't interested in paying for your services. Where do you stick a gun when you're butt naked?"
As he speaks Ajax gestures wildly, ending with raising his hands to the air as if it's a question only god himself could answer.

1322
"Well aren't you a cheery ball of sunshine. Look at it this way, you've had it better than my Ex-Wife."
Ajax says, looking at the corvid as he gestures with the handle of his gun.

To his credit Brutus is apparently paying attention to the conversation at this point. Whether because he's actually interested or just making sure there won't be any fighting you can't be sure.

1323
Freyja nods in the direction of the Mage Knights.
"I know most of them. My father was good friends with the previous emperor, despite their disagreements. Many times have I walked the halls of the castle, as well as the streets. Each time, I enjoyed it less and less."
Agilulf folds his arms as he smiles to himself.
"Perhaps it's less the city and more the company your father kept?"

1324
Agilulf shrugs at the comment.
"I think it's interesting here personally. But then, It's also my first time here."

Well you haven't got much else to do. Although you should be careful if the passage is kind of moist, I hear tentacles set up in places like that and then draw and quarter people that walk by to feed to the main body. Not a fun way to go I imagine. I wouldn't worry to much since you have a lamp though. They hate light, that's why they set up in the dark.

Also, someone left a bag of holding at the Inn. If you don't come back and claim it in a month I'm selling it to one of the nomad shamans. Been wanting some of their herbs.

Agilulf was standing next to Freyja, having come to see what a crowning looks like up close. He figured he might as well if he was going to try and get himself into the business of doing stuff for these high society types. Gotta know what they do in public and shit. That said, he wasn't very impressed with the sight. He'd expect something grander. Maybe a retinue of knights to fancy up the guard detail.

"I wouldn't be too worried, one of the healers wi-"
Kyle is cut off as an arrow impacts his chest and knocks him to the ground.

Brutus looks up to Samuel with a sigh.
"They are small statues I keep in my room because I like them."
Brutus goes back to reading.

Ajax nods to Calvin. He knew he'd have to patch that one up a lot in that case.

1329
Brutus dutifully ignores Samuel, instead opting to begin reading from a tablet in his pocket.

A fairly normal, if oddly dressed human stands from his seat and dusts himself off some before speaking.
"My name is Ajax. I'm a field medic so if you get hit, just scream so I can find you. Or don't and make my life easier. I don't really care either way."
Ajax sits down and goes back to inspecting a revolver he pulled from his coat. Anyone with some expertise in the field may note that it's a .38 caliber one of a design popular in the rimworlds. People without expertise would note that it says it's .38 caliber on the barrel.

Uh... well, I'd start with looking for a secret switch before the cieling starts lowering. It's usually in something that looks prominent but also like a trap. Otherwise, don't panic. You have a few days before you run out of air.

On an unrelated note, could I get someone to work as security for a bit? The sudden influx of travelers has been making trouble. I'm preferably looking for an orc or some other "scary" race. Alternatively, someone who can easily stop a fight without getting blood on the carpet would be fine.

Link to the OOC thread.

Taking back your papers, Brutus looks over them dismissively before going and setting them down on a table. With a sigh he looks at all of you.
"Well, at least you all should be adequate. Now then, your rooms on on the second floor. You can check them out if you wish or you can stay here and get introduced to each other... Actually,
no. Just introduce yourselves here and you can shoot the shit until the preliminary mission info gets sent from the Governer. Gods only know how much shit I'd be in if one of you was in a feud with the other and ended up shanking each other. Since I'm a nice guy, I'll start."

The huge man clears his throat and stands straighter before speaking.
"I'm Officier Brutus and I collect dragons."
He sits, thus giving all of you a chance to introduce yourselves how you want.

Well, that's the dead line for sheets.
The players can expect the game up by tomorrow at the latest. I'd also like to ask that all players join the discord server.
If you happen to want to join still, don't worry. I will allow extra players in if the original ones get killed or leave the game for some other reason.

Actually, it's funny you mention work! Some adventurer sold me this tablet thingy for a couple gold and a room for a month. Anyways, I'm over in Nodord (in case you don't know, that's the Orcish settlement near the screaming coast, surprisingly nice place.) and I'm needing someone that can clear out a cave of Necromancers a couple miles west. They've been ruining the fields which means more expensive food and, more importantly, more expensive booze!
If anyone is interested, see me in Nodord at the Tipsy Man Inn.

Finish off Greatness.

Final chance to submit sheets and force me to actually choose them.
