The game is pretty much dead because Smurf is afraid of a fairy and killed all the rabbits on the island and PN can't make up a reason for their character to interact with Skullkid.

Erm, ok. So, a couple suggestions:

1) You seem to be using the undead version of his sprite, so you're super clammy/not natural skin looking
2) Using pure black like that is a sure way to make things look bad. You'll want to use colors that you find in other sprites of that game.

Besides that it looks not bad, but those two are the main things that stick out. Also something is maybe wrong with the armor on the left side but I haven't looked close enough to figure out.

... I have no idea what that meant or what I'm supposed to do about it. In all honesty I think I'm just going to forgo a sprite since I did not enjoy making it to begin with.
