"I'm actually from another universe where souls occasionally go. And before that I was from one where magic was kind of normal. I don't have a job yet but I saw an ad for a 'combat engineer' to work for some company called Reliable Excavation Demolition and I thought I might try that on for size. And actually two people in my family line were royalty. Maybe more."
