So is this just going to be Lillian and Niamh and Shina going around and healing everyone? And Beorhtric.
honestly 2 is kinda dumb because if girls are so much better than boys at being magic then why even bother with the effort to make them girlsThey're mutually exclusive.
So how much freedom do we have with backstory? So long as it fits into what's established it should be fine.
Alright, now to question the mechanics!First, if a block is destroyed, it doesn't mean you die you just have one less action possible.
So, if I read this right, we have (at best) a 50% chance of dying in each fight? That is to say, we choose a Tier One or Tier Two attack (having no Tier 3), the enemies do the same, and :
1. We both use Tier 2/1 (50% win chance),
2. One uses Tier 1, the other uses 2 (apparently also a 50% chance)
Does that mean we will die after just a couple of fights?
Well, if Shade goes with my idea for the game start it'd make more sense.QuoteDescription: Currently an indentured servant after getting caught with a captain's daughter, this charismatic man has a face that one would hesitate to punch due to sheer charisma.
...That backstory is just weird if he is the captain. I kinda want to see the other characters before voting, there is just two right now. Well, two and a wizard.
Another question: Setting. I'm probably making it in Japan somewhere, but the city itself is up in the air. Do I do the normal anime thing and set it in a Tokyo expy? Make something up? Maybe leave it ambiguous beyond the basics and let players fill in details as we play? That last one.
Note that all statements are subject to change.Allow them but only with options one or two.Transgender magical girl:Will their form be what they want to be or what they are?So, I've had to think about how gender is going to work with the whole magical girl system. The 5th version of the rulebook- we're not using it since it's still in alpha, where version 4 seems mostly done- has suggestions for it, actually. I'm assuming you mean their magical form.
So while I still have to figure out about whether cis-male characters will be a thing, I think I've decided that one's form in the magical version is, to some extent, influenced by their mindset; the magical form does not necessarily look like themselves in normal form. So if they could well be physically female in their magical form.
Now, while on the subject: Male characters. Opinions? Are they allowed at all? If so, are they male in their normal form and gender-bent when they become Magical Girls? Do they just remain male? Are they male but in a feminine outfit?
