Well, those ones weren't stated to be used for crowd control. And given what IRIS deals with normally it's not that far of a stretch to see them using things like that.

02 - stationed in the USA - chassis has been painted in red white and blue for maximum liberty, a flamethrower and a pain-ray for crowd controle have been added

03 - stationed in Johannisburg - has received heavy armor plating. Now being rather slow, the blade has been removed and exchanged for a rocket launcher

04 - stationed in great britain - has been equipped with much more advanced batteries, enabling the unit to make use of her weaponry more excessively

05 - stationed in france - has received an AI upgrade that enables creative thought and experimental emotional capabilities

06 - stationed in china - equipped with a variety of metalstorm that fires depleted uranium, as well as a module that releases a cloud of CF₃ gas

07 - stationed with IRIS - equipped with an Electrolaser and a module to fire experimental nets of synthetic spider silk for maximum non-lethalness

If I may cut in as I'm the one who pretty much controls (the main branch of) IRIS.

01= Maybe owned by the Russian state but... Putin is no go.
02= veto. IRIS is stupid enough to give the US something like that for CROWD CONTROL!

04= Accepted.

Kyle and Hilda probably arrived back at some point. He may have noticed that his clothes were folded differently from how HK-47 does it. This may have him worried.
