That's the problem. What you think is "cool" is not necessarily what other players think. Just play someone you have fun playing with and worry not about whether or not others will hold their feats in a high regard. As long as they aren't as controversial as Alanis of course

That's what I plan on doing with Kyle2 (the sequel) and by dropping Ian as a character because I still can't think of any good story for him. Well, not the last part. Though, I think it'd be impressive to outmatch Alanis.

Just because it worked for Idou doesn't mean it'll work for Ian. To be honest, I feel like I keep boxing myself in by making these character that I think are cool but then they end up being annoying or unlikeable and their character doesn't really go anywhere because none of the other characters care enough about them to talk to them and I don't know if it's because all the other characters just spend more time either off fucking about or with other characters they know or if it's because I just don't make characters interesting enough to interact with. And I do try to have them interact with others but... eh, it doesn't really matter. I'll just keep trying to make likeable characters until I find something again.
