Oceanus pauses in the door frame.
"I didn't go out and by the only iron hammer I could find just so I could pussy out last minute. Since you two don't want to do something risky..."
Oceanus thinks for a while before speaking.
"I know, There's this place that my parents know about, it might have some uncommon reagents for magic. Just ask the guy at the counter about magic spices... but clarify you mean literal magic spices. Tried selling me oregano..."

Kyle slinks off to hide.

SCP-682's a rather sad SCP, when you think about it.  682 is fully intelligent, capable of feeling pain, fear, even happiness--but most of the time it just feels anger and hate.  That anger and hate is fairly justified at this point, as humans have captured it and continually subject it to horrifyingly terrible tortures, none of which can quite kill it.  So, it's relegated to an eternity of sitting in a continual acid bath, only broken up by intense torture sessions and the occasional temporarily security breach when it can get a small amount of revenge.  It has basically no hope of ever being freed, not even by death.  Instead, it can only wait through the agony, as the Foundation's attempts on its life inexorably grow more painful, and security is strengthened, making the rare escapes--probably the only thing 682 can derive happiness from--more infrequent and temporary.

I bet the Foundation will eventually find some horrible weapon which derives power from suffering, and when hooked up to 682 it'll end up being more powerful than anything else they have.  Of course, the only thing they'd need that power for would be killing 682, and things just spiral downwards at that point.  They'd have a gun which hurts more the more it hurts, and shoot it at something which has an infinite capacity for being hurt.

It would probably be resolved within a day, through [DATA EXPUNGED] only ███7 casualties.
Of course, the Foundation has a pretty good reason to contain it since it happens to be compelled to destroy all human life and more because of how alien it is to 682. Only reason they keep trying to kill him. Well, that and the fact that they can't get him back home without running a risk of more than one coming back or something worse coming.

Ian blinks at the ruins.
"So... how many zeros are on that insurance check?"
A cut appears on his cheek as he tries to rest his head on his missing arm, though it quickly heals due to his aura.

Jet is silent as she gazes at the nest.

Oh, TBF is using meta knowledge in character when there's no reason for it. What a surprise.
JK but really, you need to work on that.

Elizabeth is somewhere.
We wait in excited anticipation for her to actually do something.

Well, we excludes Kyle who has dropped from his tree to approach the sparring pair.
"You said you wanted someone to go all out against?"

4103
You aren't wrong there, most of them actually don't do anything, because most of them are just blank and up to the GM's interpretation.

Which is why you should be glad that you have Elf and Sanure GM'ing rather than say, Piecewise or Corsair who would immediately roll INT to see if you strip naked and run crotch-first into all incoming attacks :P
It's 3d6 plus res, as per the rules for nonspecific rolls.

Oceanus looks around before shrugging and taking up his hammer and heading out for the asylum.

Do you think Tori could teach Kyle how to use guns later on? I think that sextuple weilding would be an apt for the nature of the game.

4106
Yes, but, and I apologize for sounding like TBF here, they have narativitim unlike most humans.

4107
multilayer multiplayer
what
W-was the commander a player
he'd better not have been
Why? It's just a game. Presumably he remembers that if he is a player.

4108
Well, both of my characters have good reasons to have simple, easy to use magic, as both of them were given magical abilities that were passed down and were made for the express purpose of protecting humanity, so it'd make sense that their powers would be easy to use; that way, the next guy to wield it wouldn't be wondering 'how do i shot web'. Even Maria back in RotMG V1 had a good reason, that being that she was being possessed by Anima, who knew how to cast the spells.
THIS TECHNIQUE HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN THE BLANC LINE FOR GENERATIONS!

Following Nancy's explanation Kyle had been working out. He paused his routine to watch the two girls.

PCs aren't baseline humans.
