Okay, just to be the asshole who disagrees, I don't like orroborppolis(?) mostly based on the fact that the 'he who fights monsters' cliche is old and tired at this point and there's really little else it can be done with to make it really interesting. Especially since the end result has just been revealed to us from the start. If I'm going to have the character I make die horribly without any other alternative to it, why would I make them?

Hell yeah, post-apocalyptic mage battles for the win.

Most places there's a niche for non-hats. Because they're useful for pretty much everything.
