Oceanus has slipped into the forest with the screeching root. He's good at that.

He looked at the camera and walked where they told him, but otherwise, yes. No acting involved.Wow, Keanu Reeves is pretty cool.
Ah, the franchise otherwise known as "Keanu Reeve's best and only Acting"So, the Matrix and John Wick were just people following Keanu around and filming what he did?
i kno riteOh yeah, thanks for that tip.
Well, actually, the bosses I made could survive Mankai!Mio and not fuck you all over for it.
Damage Reduction is OP, bro
((Argh, but if I run that I'd have to put actual time and effort into it, rather than just whatever the hell Fate/Apostasia will turn out to be >__<))((Isn't that the thing where King Arthur is a girl?))
Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that, unless you kill yourself before hand and maybe not even then, you're not controlling your character for one or more turns. That's why I'm advocating prior-warning before deployment being mandatory. Because it means that it becomes possible to exercise control over the situation, set yourself up and position yourself so that you force the game to take a path you want, even if you aren't directly controlling yourself for that turn.Wall of textYes, but there's a difference in that at least with those things you can control your helplessness, this is the equivalent of a game forcing you down a certain path and you not even getting to play it.
It was asked for I will concede, but not by the people who it was used on. And having something that instantly kills your character for real is bad but PW finds that he needs it, and with good reason. He doesn't need to control the players directly at any point.Wall of textYes, but there's a difference in that at least with those things you can control your helplessness, this is the equivalent of a game forcing you down a certain path and you not even getting to play it.
I mean, it's not a railroad. Even without Green Storm, Steve really could just fry your brain to death. Like, perma-death. Poof, gone. And you're complaining now that the implant is a problem? That's a little silly. And, over the course of its existence (The entire goddamn game) it has been used a total of one time. To destroy a creature two AoW's can't kill. And, I believe, it was requested that Steve do something to help kill that goddamn thing, so it was asked for, in a sense.
Yeah, Call of Cuthulu.Play what? Being mashed into unrecognizable pudding by horrors beyond time and space?!Wall of textYes, but there's a difference in that at least with those things you can control your helplessness, this is the equivalent of a game forcing you down a certain path and you not even getting to play it.

Don't like it, also, neotherm rounds await you when you're done.I'm opposed to it both in an out of character. Mostly because I don't want anyone else controlling my characters at any time.Don't worry, we won't control your character, we'll just control your character's body~
Better dead than mindraped.Plus even if you refuse, the alternative is also likely going to be losing control. Permanently.I'm opposed to it both in an out of character. It's really less mindfuck and more mind replacement. Not helping your case at all.
