"It's not about the fact the person in question is sure of who their parents are, it's about their motives for their actions. If I said that I killed someone for myself I am still a person responsible for my actions, if I said I killed a man for my family most people would think my cause was noble or something and that I wasn't as responsible for my actions."

I purpose that the world has an event happen to it where almost all life has been destroyed but there are new beings in play, they new being neither eat nor sleep, they just continue to maintain power plants such as solar plant and wind farms. The story follows a group that met up one day.
