Oceanus finally gets the last of the ectoplasm out of his system. He looks like he's about to say something before furiously writing in his animal journal, specifically, every detail he can recall about the ghost hound and a not that says to not carry meat in his clothes if it's around.

"I'm gonna punch a corrupt god in the face."

Ian pat's Eirika's shoulder.

"All things that exist are mortal, even that which claims not to be. Even the gods are."

Ian seems to think on that for a moment. Finally he whispers to himself.
"I'm gonna punch a god in the face."

Wow Emmet, stealing a drowning person's phone is a dick move.

Oceanus isn't listening very well, maybe it's something to do with him having to cough something up like a motherfucker.

Is Oceanus attempting to remove the ectoplasm from his lungs not going to receive any mention or are you just waiting for something?

Do we have to have this 'most interesting thing can't be done if it doesn't fit the setting' discussion again? If you want to make something interesting, I advise you take it to your own plot.

I'm starting to be quite irritated with my plot being bashed for no apparent reason, if I'm honest. Yes, I'm salty. Sue me. It gets on my nerves.

You didn't even bother giving me more than a one sentence reply when I was doing things that you suggested. If you're salty because I think a plot where we spent more than a week IRL doing pretty much nothing is boring then I really don't care.

Oceanus forgets to breath for a moment as his mind is filled with the thought to grab for his journal to record this. Then, when he does try to breath, he realizes he can't. He quickly pulls his fist into his belly to get the residue out of his system before he passes out.
