Fisnib walks over and looks at it
Fisnib would find that the menu did not change since the time Alan looked at it.

Not exactly reassuring, there.  ;)
OH COME THE CARP OFF IT, WHY [FINSIB], WHY HERE?!
Oh geez, sorry, shouldn't have shouted!
Sorry!  </3
As you probably gathered...We do not have a good history.  He almost blew up the ship we came in on.  Well, he did, actually...

...So who's his friend?

Alan is occasionally gesturing, but not by much.

The bartender makes a gesture similar to picking her ear. Probably as a joke.
'No idea what her name is but I think that he calls her an... imp? I can't really tell them apart. Anyways, I already have my bar magic proofed.

Mona looks over Ian's Shoulder, "Do you know how to play the song of the Sea?"
Ian turns to look at her.
"No, as it happens I do not."

Dackly, Gozer, and Deathspell go to the Bar to get Smashed.
They see much of the same as the other two. They do however notice a man sitting at the end of the bar with what looks like a futury revolver in front of him.

Ian plays a few notes on the lyre.

Fisnib would note that the menu is behind the bar, and coincidentally, behind the bartender that's having what appears to be an intense staring contest with Alan.

7638
The bartender waves her hand dismissively.
'Oh, no no, you won't need to worry. He's moody but he wouldn't hurt a fly. That's why he has his friend!'
Not very reassuring.

7639
Dangit.  I so want Alan to meet Mona.
I also want him to talk to Star Girl more.
I think that we'll be coming back to the station later on so there will be plenty of time.

7640
The star cowgirl person nods.
'That's nice. It's not often I get repeat customers... Hey, I don't really ask this normally but could you shoo off the warlock over there for me, sugar? He's a regular but he gets moody after he fails a... job hunt. He's a nice enough guy, but... you know.'
She shrugs. It looks like she was talking about the guy with the red skinned woman.

Ian blinks at the scene before shrugging and browsing the store for something he might be able to trade for.

7641
Ian wanders off with his remaining donughts. He decides to enter a random shop to entertain his wanderluts.

7642
Ian and Kirol must me metal buddies.

Also, I never thought I'd sympathies with GWG's anger at having ridiculous amounts of posts to look through.

The menu has a few unique offerings. The first one to stand out is a drink called 'Wild Magic' which is free if you don't mention it to anyone. Pretty good deal. Some of the other offerings are more mundane looking, such as the sodas (it claims that they'll give you any flavor you want), Nachos, Star Fish and Chips, and finally a multi-dimensional Nueron spliter. He doesn't really get a 'magic' vibe but some dude in a corner nursing what appears to be an orange soda is looking dejectedly at his table. A rather attractive, if short, woman with red skin and random bony bits sticking out of her arm is sitting next to him with a cup of what seems like some kind of swirling vortex in front of her. She's definitely not mundane. The bartender brightens a bit more before speaking telepathically.
'Hi there sugar, see anything you like? Or are you just blowing through the station?'

When Alan actually pays attention Alan would note several things about the bar. First, there's a woman tending the bar that draws Alan's eyes. This is due in part by her clothes being quite revealing, looking like a cross between a halloweeny cowgirl outfit and something a cowgirl would actually wear, and also because she's got the appearance of a anthropomorphic star glowing in the dingy atmosphere.  Most of the patrons are rather grim, and being shady would seem to be a requirement judging by the clientele of the bar. It's pretty crowded but the noise levels are within a reasonable volume. There are only three drinks on the menu, but there are several different foods that are slightly over priced. Given the part of town it's in very few of the people in here are armed openly. There's a dart board in one of the corners. The bartender winks at Alan and glows slightly yellower when he walks in. If Alan wants to see the menu he'll have to get closer to see the faded board, but can he withstand the possibility of the bartender flirting with him?

7645
The bar still looks seedy and slightly run down. But, apparently the drinks are still very cheap.

7646
Alan continues tempting fate by wandering vaguely.
Alan could happen upon The Drunken Ghost.

Goldy shrugs and goes off to hunt for some meat.

((Ian has one credit. Also, about seven posts ago.))

ENG finds a food replicator. It costs 400,000 Credits and takes about 2 days to install. OTher than that, he does get the water and donut.

((Mcclay, good timing, take over Sans for me.))
((W-What?))
Alria continues to look for a bar. A seedy as fuck one preferably.
Alria eventually finds a bar in a lower end part of the station called The Drunken Ghost. The blue neon sign that goes along with it shows a woman in a very drunk woman that's more out of her skin tight suit than out of it. Underneath it proclaims it's cheap drinks being able to melt through the stomach of a... well, it must be tough if it's being used to boast.

"And I do? Just... just stay over there for now!"
