I'm guess if he's asking if the sacrifice thing would possibly be something that could cause someond to gain magic. Which is since this is a setting where basing something off the sorceres from D&D would make a lot of sense. :p

Goldy pokes her head back into the clearing.
"We are in fact in a jungle judging by the thick canopy!"
With that said, Goldy jumps down onto the ground to scout the jungle on foot. She silently contemplates how at least back in Vacuo she could just look around from a hill to scout. But it wouldn't have been nearly so colorful... and wet. Good thing she wore her gold clothes today. Which is silly since those are her only color of clothes.
