Kyle couldn't hide his grin as he walked over to the other side of the bar to take a seat. He ordered some rum as he considered what he would say before finally just deciding that thinking things through just isn't his style. He turns to Barret with a thoughtful look.
"Excuse me, are you perhaps, Elsid Barret?"
He knew it was him, he spend years looking for the son of a bitch. But he figured it'd be polite to have one last conversation with him before he does him in.

Ragnar glances at the door before nodding. This would be less than useful.
"What? You thought those myths about magic girls and that kind of thing didn't have a hint of truth? Anyways, yes I'll be quick then. First of all, have you noticed anything odd during your stay? Just, anything that stands out to you as odd... Oh and what's your name?"

Ragnar silently freaks out in his head. He wasn't actually prepared for someone to be here, let alone someone awake and asking questions of him. He thought he'd just sneak in, see some weird device or something and then leave to tell the others. He mentally slaps himself. He has to pull himself together, a real hero wouldn't freak out just because of a little social interaction. He just had to act calm and not freak this girl out. Ragnar shakes his head.
"I'm with the group that brought down the Zoanthropes heading here yesterday. Do you mind if I ask some questions real quick? It could be very helpful in understanding what's going on."

"Sure! I already have experience with ships, and it sure beats my other plan."

Kyle looks thoughtful at that.
"Well, what if you had someone make a big deal out of it and then had a "test run" to show that it works? It'd get your foot in the door and after that you could just build up the money over time to make and maintain more. It's how merchants build up their fleets."

Kyle nods.
"Well, I was thinking; "If a normal ship can get things around in greater number than wagons between ports, why couldn't you use airships to do the same on land?". I mean, it might be stupid, but I think you could make tons of money off some kind of courier service via airships. After all, people would pay out the nose for a service that's safe, that'll get their goods to where they need them real fast like ya know?"

Kyle walks up to Nikolai after a little bit.
"Hey Nikolai, have you thought about what you're gonna do after this is done?"
