For a few weeks after the Socialist Election Victory, various beer halls have closed down. Emigration to the United Baltic Duchy has skyrocketed, and workers have been seen buying large amounts of ammunition and firearms. There is little known currently about the whereabouts of the A.D.V as all the reporters and newspapers are taking part in the Syndicalist celebrations. Various fight broke out in the beer halls that were still open between Syndicalist and Nationalist workers.

But there needs to be a rightist opposition. Surely we will get more players as time goes on, if you leave then who do we debate with? Nobody.
It gets lonely when it's a 5v1.

Edit: Also, beware when Bavarian Anarchists speak of White Terror.

Would you guys mind if I disbanded my party?

That would be a terrible shame if you did, I really enjoyed debating with you and I think it would be too quiet without the Verband.
I would probably be the only right-wing party player as of right now. The others are currently inactive. If I do decide to disband the Verband, I'll probably end it with a bang.

Fakeedit:
Why? Don't you want to fuck with protest the greedy syndicalist/social democratic dogs in charge now? Hell, it'd be completely boring if we didn't receive some kind of violent reaction to a bunch of leftists taking control. I'm already somewhat uncomfortable with taking power, since I assumed my role would be the annoy pest/public punching bag until the war started.
I suggest you look very closely at France in the next couple of months. The Kaiser will probably disband the syndicalist government. *hinthint* Don't you dare give up Elsass-Lothringen. *hinthint*  IC Post inc.

I'm pretty sure Ghaz isn't going to count us as the losers of the election because we didn't announce our coalition in big, bold letters in the IC thread.
I just simply followed GWG's definition of a valid coalition.  Yours was definitely more public than ours as we organized ours through PM.

231
The Right has the only valid coalition.
EDIT: Also, as the Right shall not accept any leftist victory we (I) have decided that we will let The Thought Party join our coalition.

233
Will the right-wingers let me into their coalition?
Probably, let me go check.

Given the situation, I don't see why I need to make a case for you to accept me into the temporary coalition. Instead, I ask you: Which coalition would a bunch of German scholars looking for the best thing for Germany and then humanity want to join, and why?
Not Roleplaying answer: The lesser of the two evils would be the right-wing coalition. If the German Empire elects the left-wingers, there is no guarantee for peace between the Empire and the Internationale as there is a 50/50 chance that the Sorelians or Jacobins would be elected over the Travailleurs or Anarchistes in France. If the Sorelians or Jacobins are elected, then we would be under the threat of a war with the Internationale. There is also the whole Italian Federation versus the Socialist Republic of Italy where the Socialist would probably invade the Federation leaving us with a bunch of disgruntled Catholics if the government does not intervene. If the Empire elects the right-wingers, then the German Empire would go conquering everything. This is probably very beneficial to Germany in the long run as that leaves the Empire with more manpower and resources. This would also better for humanity in the long-run if the left-wing were to gain power after the German Empire has sufficiently integrated the newly conquered territories as the standard of living would likely go up due to reforms and such. If you are not looking that far into the future, then I suggest you go with the left-wing coalition. They will reduce the risk of war with the Internationale and avoid a Second Weltkrieg for a short while.

I can guarantee you that if the results don't swing in our favor, the proud working syndicalists of Germany will take to the streets in protest. I'm only saying this, because I'm very much doubting you'll side with a bunch of moderate socialists and more radical syndicalists.

An electoral split like this, especially due to the very opposing differences of both coalitions is the perfect mix for riots and maybe even a civil war.
And then the Alldeutscher Verband will offer their services to the government thus causing fight in the streets causing Heinz Guderian to rise up and seize the government.

Depends, do you want me to answer in my roleplaying personality or my real personality?

Try both.
RP: Obviously a right-wing coalition would be the most stable government. A left-wing coalition would have massive problems with passing reforms and doing anything that's semi-productive as there are far too many people entrenched in their traditions. A right-wing coalition would be more appealing to the conservatives and less likely to cause massive unrest due to unpopular reforms.

Real Personality: Neither would be truly beneficial in the long run. The left, if elected in the next election, would simply undo all the reforms the right has pushed through, even if the reforms are beneficial, thus wasting 2 years or so. The right would do the same. Only a moderate coalition would be beneficial to the Empire as their reforms would have a lower chance to be repealed thus aiding societal progress.

I think the only unclaimed country is Austria, and people have been claiming "any country" a couple of times, so I think it's full.
I claimed Austria-Hungary.
