DF Suggestions / Small suggestion for booze: Fill up pre-existing barrels

I find it incredibly annoying that there are about 4 units of Dwarven wine in a booze barrel, which is surely not the full capacity as I've seen barrels with friggin' 30 items in them, and brewers persist in not using them to make more alcohol. If it's the same kind of booze as the one in the barrel, I'd like to be able to fill one up, or maybe make a new kind of fill-able barrel called a keg. Just something to stop me from having to have 50 barrels with contents: dwarven wine 2.

I had this. Zethsum, law-giver or something to that effect. Fucking cool title really, 'law-giver'. I killed him through blood loss before being shot in the upper lip with a crossbow bolt and bleeding out, somehow.

well, if anyone tried to attack the dwarfs, the attacking army would just be flooded with magma. that, or if the dwarfs felt like doing something different, they would dig under random human cities and sink em into the ground

Grab it while it's flying about and throw it to the ground. Then batter it while it's down. You can grab stuff that's a few Z-levels higher than you I think, so you might be able to do a bit of damage to it, then strangle it to death while it's throwstunned.

You ejected the first arrow by hand, didn't you? I see what you were trying to do, but testing a technique you've only heard about in the middle of battle wasn't very smart. You were asking to have your bow jam on you. Besides, I don't think you're cut out for a bow in the first place; you tend to twist your elbow a little to absorb the recoil. That's more of a crossbow technique.
I never understood what the hell Ocelot was actually trying to do by ejecting the first round. :|

I fear I may be the entire reason that sword is in circulation. I found it killing zombies under the Bradbury, presumably someone died while holding it. I picked it up and asked what the fuck it was on chatnet. The rest is, as they say, history.
