If you'd have rolled a four or three on that last turn, the corpse you would be walking right now would have been one of your own race.

Dude....I DID roll a four  ???

Well anyway, I just thought it was kinda odd there weren't more of us then we had been seeing :P

Um ... Ahh .... welll, you seee, what I meant was .......

I felt after a while that the main point of the game was the display of the news. Little seemed to happen to our character, even when we were trapped in that station. I mean, literally, at one point in the station, we had exactly nothing to do. And after the station, everything went back to life as normal. Plus, our character had, as you say, few options. I felt at times there was litle to add as a player, except to agree with the obvious course that had been suggested by one of the other players.

Overall, this was an entertaining game. My own game at times feels extremely limited due to my own lack of imagination and coordination, so I am in no way saying t was poorly done. Good job, and good luck with your next one!

They are there, in the background, somewhere. Perhaps if 2 Delta 3 hadn't been so involved in his dog fight in the park, he might have seen some creature shoveling up one of the Former humidifier beings, for instance. Besides, it's been less than a day. Oh, and you have encountered members of your own race several times, in your habitat and at work. If you'd have rolled a four or three on that last turn, the corpse you would be walking right now would have been one of your own race.

Revoke the alarm already. Then check the stocks of lichen-like things.
(4+1) The alarm has been revoked, the doors have been opened, and lichen stocks are ample.

Do these things, while grumbling angrily about how I never go to blow things up or set them on fire or anything fun.[/i]
(2+1) Pre-flight checks are acceptable, but you ignore the flight plan, instead tossing it to your beaked companion to file, buzzing angrily and grumbling the while.
(1) Impatience, and a burning desire pull you onward, and you leap into one of the scouts and arm the lasers before you can be stopped. You target the bay doors, (5) which are opened before you can launch yourself at them. The scouter lunges out of the ship, and before you, reflected in the lights of the FireBug, are hundreds of gigantic rocks, floating far coser together than one would normally expect, occasionally colliding and spinning off in new, random directions. You fire your scouter's lasers wildly, thoug hyou see no effect on the rocks, or anything else.

Ugh. See what's on TV.
(1) you turn on the viewscreen, and with an audible Crack!, it goes dark.

Log on to a computer, and troll on the bay 12 forums.
(5) You happily spend some time in the interwaves, chumming the waters, as the saying goes.

Find corpse that looks unhappy. Take it out for a walk.
(4) You manage to open one of the Mausoleum's racks and find a chitinous exoskeleton that has a despondent look in it's multifaceted eyes. You are touched. And now, so is the corpse. You haul it out of it's container throw an arm or two around it's waist, and march it out into the streets.
(5) You are spotted pretty quickly, and an alarm at the morgue alerts the Mausoleum overseers, who come rushing out after you, squawking and flapping their sides at you.

Oh, don't worry, I'd get to RPing eventually. For now though I'm just tired and uninspired.
I'll send an elderly, aquatic, exoskeletoned creature with a greatbig long neck and cataracts to keep you company. What's that, spellecheck? Fuck you. Greatbig is so a word.
An elderly, aquatic, exoskeletoned, myopic creature with a greatbig long neck and cataracts hobbles sedately into your atrium. It blinks slowly at you, and extends its beaked head toward your lower branches to nibble on some leaves.

Break free.
(2 vs. 1) You attempt to shlorp away from the ominous fellow, but fail to make any headway, still feeling the effects of all that garbage you just ate. Fortunately, the fellow slips on something and goes down in the garbage! Advantage - Slime!

Works for me. Friday night works too. I suck at this game, but I can play as janitor. I'll janit the shit out of that game.

And by that, I mean I will find a hidey-hole and read porn while the toilets clog, blood gets smeared everywhere, lights go unreplaced, and cheesy honker bags gain sentience and devour half of botany and most of virology.

Tend foot bleed, damn it! Swear profusely.

I gotta admit, this is not how I expected this game to progress.

I wish to welcome Hans on as the newest member of the admin team. This is a promotion for him from moderator.

*Applause and cheers*
Congrats, Hans.
Hey can you make me a space ninja?

(That's a joke. You know, because of all the "hey can you ..." that you got as moderator.)
...
Please don't hit me.

I am having real difficulty getting a suitable holy book and place of worship. Sheesh.
(I now have a cult of chastity as well. They are even happy! Don't forget them.)

Gay artist: Insert Divine imagery into the cult painting, preferably in ways that are pleasing and not offensive.
Governor: Take some time off, you seems stressed.
Those who were irritated that they didn't get the position they wanted: see the priests about transfers. In the meanwhile, do the job you are assigned t the best of your ability.
Artist assistants, improve the holy book.
Merchants: five travel to the capital to do business and preach. Five travel to the other major city to do business and preach. Ten stay in the village to do business and preach.
Prophetess and 15 holy knights (the happier ones): accompany the merchants heading to the capital.
5 holy knights accompany the merchants going to the other city. The other ten remain and guard the village.
Priests: begin worship meetings (outside the village limits if necessary). Minister to the needs of the people.
Monastic Order of Chastity: offer family counseling and other duties of chastity (chaperoning young women, education, etc.)
Villagers and all: Begin supporting the prophets and religious groups within your means (i.e. don't starve yourself or cause great personal burdens).
Lich: raise the recently executed farmers as Zombies of Boobs.
Boobs: Grant Holy Knights the powers of healing and protection (+1 defensive combat rolls as well as ability to Bless others with protection from wildlife, bandits or the followers/acts of opponent gods.
