I sure appreciate the living world. I'm with Putnam on this one. Not to say I don't love Masterwork, but the game aims to be a fantasy world simulator, and this update is a HUGE step toward that. Meph has accomplished great things with modding, but he can't activate the world, or overhaul the combat system.

-Kobolds could be added too, i dont know how a Kobold fort would work, but i bet they could use vermin and small animals for food, maybe use wooden stuff, its not like one gets stolen equipment anyways.
You might want to take a look at Kobold camp. And the Masterwork version

In th OP add on the DFFD, you still refer to 40.03: "the game at v40_03 has many more bugs than v34_11"

Updated, weapon changes rolled back to vanilla, mostly since I have a feeling Toady is going to do some refining on his own and I'll follow those balances instead of my hackjob changes.
the weapon raws in 0.40.04 are exactly the same as in the previous version

also uh, hi why were the changes a thing in the first place (oh right because vanilla weapons are wacko and some weapons are rather useless or overpowered!)
You don't need the extra attacks now:
(*) People with a weapon should use it with the proper frequency now
