Other Games / Re: Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup. Or: THAT DAMN SIGMUND.

What do I need to do to make a Hill Orc Priest survive the bottom part of the Orcish Mines? I've been there three times now with various incarnations of Illska Su - my character - and have managed to be burnt to death on all three occasions. Is there somewhere else I should take him first?

I'd check the wiki but it doesn't make sense to me, what with this god damn sensory input problem making walls of text hard to understand as anything other than a wall. In other words please provide a proper synopsis so I'm not glazing my eyes like some kind of baked ham dish.

Games written in Flash and not being able to adjust the quality of said games. It makes most games unplayable on Facebook, which is about the only place I can play video games with my mother this day. Pisses me off it does, kind of.

You see people? This is why I don't do crowdfunding and will never do crowdfunding - broken promises and violated dreams. I was almost more-than-tempted to purchase the game but after hearing all of this here backlash I'm inclined to just stick with the Genesis version.

Recent patch fixed a LOT of bugs (notably the "wired reflexes makes you dodge friendly effects").  And makes it more obvious that the game only saves at the autosave points and when those are.
I should stop reading the forums while drunk on sedatives then because it looks like I made an ass of myself. I'll give this game a shot once I've got a computer that meets the RAM requirement. Believe it or not my computer at this time meets all requirements but that one.

How the hell can my piece of shit computer from 2001 meet the requirements for every part of the Half-Life series released to date, up to Half-Life 2: Episode 2? I'm still replacing her this September if possible but still god damn what the fuck have I been missing?

I installed Mabinogi via Steam and now for some reason it won't start because of some "bug catcher" error I haven't bothered to try replicating again yet. I hope I don't have to do some weird registry editing shit to get it to work a second time on this computer because I had to do some just to get it to work the last time.

I'll be getting a new computer in September at the earliest and Tera was one of the games I wanted to try, and if I can get a machine that is able to run Tera on a budget of $250 USD you might be able to count me in as a Sorcerer of some kind since I like DPS magi and/or glass cannons.

Maybe people just shouldn't be so easily offended by things said to you on the internet? You don't know the person personally, they have no actual knowledge of your life and neither do you of theirs, and things said shouldn't actually affect you on a deep personal level. If you're so insecure and easily offended by things said on the internet, then maybe you need to focus more on your own personal problems rather than how you feel when someone on the internet says a bad thing.
It's more easy to get offended at someone when there is a name and a face to attach to said offense. Hence why I spend a lot of time on 4chan - so I don't get the urge to be offended and can instead just laugh it off as someone being an asshole or having a different opinion. I don't need some kid reminding me of that but thanks anyways.

My mother/representative payee says I might be able to get TV this month and a new computer the month after. Maybe this means I get to watch The Colbert Report, Adventure Time and My Little Pony reruns instead of spending all my day on 4chan for a change?

I find the mockery-making of one's problems to be rage-inducing and something to inspire further hatred towards your generation and all others out there. At least I'm not sad anymore though.
Humour is a coping mechanism for dealing with problems. If anything can inspire light from depression, humour is it. It is the value of satire.
I understand that but my idea of cheering someone up isn't schadenfreude in their general direction. That's how I cheer myself up at someone's expense, not at my own. I notice that a lot of people on both sides of the pond have different ideas of humor than making fun of someone's depressed state of mind, and would much rather have that than what was dished out and towards me earlier as said failed attempts at laughter make me angry to say the least.

Jesus Christ this is the best thing ever. I'm laughing like a maniac because of how delightful this is. I think a neighbor might have gone "What the fuck" because of how loud I was.

You're not real MadMalkavian, you're a figment of your own imagination, which in turn is a figment of my own imagination. THIS ISN'T REAL.
I don't find this funny.
I guess we have different senses of humor then, because I find it marginally funny.

I would give anything, just about anything, to have someone to talk to right now in a telephone conversation of sorts or even person-to-person. You know, just to know that I wasn't dreaming and that I'm not a fictive of my own imagination. I tried calling my friend and he's not responding and I tried calling my mother and she's not responding either. I would go outside but that's too large of a scale and at the same time not large enough. I just want to know if I'm real or not.

I want to play Tera because it actually looks enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing at the same time, yet am unable to because my computer is a piece of shit. Looking at the little cocksucker that is my computer right now all I feel is a burning desire to get a new computer then never look at this one again despite the times I've had with said computer being some of the best I've ever had and ever will have.
