"Huh. Would have thought that would work."
Charles will be disappointed and (physically) evasive.

857
((I hope you hit. Otherwise you will SO regret that...))
((My potency rolls have been [5+1][6+1][5+1][6+1], so I regret nothing. I'm pretty sure I would only die if I roll:
[6+1]pot [1]dex You glance back as you complete your spell, flinging yourself towards the spike room at Mach 3.
[1]dex You tuck your arms and legs, narrowly fitting through the door.
[6]end Yeah... you hit the spikes, so you're still dead, but you broke through the wall and now there's a new room. Yay?

Pariah has entered the arena!

Sprinting towards Derm and Tod, Charles jumps, screams Pioncale Enur and attempts to kick Derm's and Tod's heads off.

((I've wondered about the efficiency of this spell for a while now. Any bets on whether I'll wind up as a fine mist floating above the intermingled chunks of Derm and Tod?))

859
Charles psyches himself up, readying himself to act as quickly as possible next turn.

860
"Oh no. More people. Hey people, are you nice?!" To Jack ,"Do you know these guys? And what do you think of them?"

If either Derm or Tod move into the northeastern half of the room, shoot them. If either Derm or Tod speak anything other than English, shoot them. If Jack badmouths either Derm or Tod, shoot them. If they both look dangerous in any of these ways, blast them.
Shooty spell: Enur Umbulaggis. Blasty (?) spell: Enur Nunpachori Umbulaggis

"I meant this."
Charles says Kaverbel Gostophori Flifact.

862
"That's not what I was expecting, but since you're fine, do you think we'd be better off as a team?
((He was supposed to drown on the stuff... oh well, new plan.))
"I think I know how to regrow our leg hair. If you know what I mean."

863
"Oh! I'm sorry, I thought you were part of the tutorial.        *awkward silence*         I... I guess I should do something about that then."
Charles, feeling something is expected from him, tries to save Jack from the spreading pool of Greek fire. Gostophori?
((If the last round didn't count as combat, I'll have Charles say Josionp Pioncale Enur and try to flying tackle Jack out of the fire.))

You didn't give us matches. You gave us napalm.

Charles, glancing through his book, immediately perceives he is in a VR psychological experiment run by a psychotic appliance obsessed with magic and decides he will win this thing. For his pet thing. And his fish bowl.

Charles walks up behind Jack, placing his left hand to Jack's mouth, and calmly says icht kiforiter yeat. And then jumps backwards in horror.

Yay! I thought I'd missed my chance completely when Perplexicon ended.

Charles: A skinny man who appears not to have gone outside for years. He is wearing a ragged T-shirt with the name Babbage emblazoned across it in gigantic letters.

I'd like to join up. Been lurking for about a year now, but this looks like a good RTD, so I finally made a forum account.

Name: Dalon
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Race: Human

Bio: Discharged from the UM after only a week, Dalon isn't really combat trained. Instead, he turned to a life of refurbishing broken machines for a profit or keeping them himself. After a few years, though, he got bored with his life and decided to advertize his skills as a general mechanic and tinker to various gangs. Predictably, this didn't go very well. Now on the run from at least three separate crime bosses, Dalon was advised to try joining ((uh... what's the player group named/referred to as?)) by a black market contact they both knew.

Occupation: Tinker
Possessions:

Story-lines: sure
Group: no
