Truthfully I don't know how much brain damage can be directly blamed for that, and how much of it is just a natural psychological reaction to major trauma and the indignity inherent in being a medical curiosity.

Spehss kinda beat me to it, but Tinder does not have what (it sounds like) you want. It's basically just a meetup app for STI exchange enthusiasts (by design!), not someplace you go to find an actual relationship, and definitely not someplace you go to improve yourself. If you want to break out of a rut, you should look to your coworkers (or classmates if you're still in school) and neighbors. Talk to them more and go out and do things with them, if you aren't already. That's not always easy, but it's much more rewarding than screwing around with internet dating people who're just shopping for something and don't give a shit about anything about you except what you can offer them.
