How many months out of the year are you thinking? If he could just be stationed there for a four month stint, train for two months beforehand, and work random jobs for the other half of the year that would be ideal, both for the character and for Lectorog, who could set that up with minimal headache. That would allow him time to train too. Room and board is enough for him, he is a simple dwarf. But year round room and board would be cool.

Baffler prefers to preform services in exchange for goods as a rule, so any money offered will most likely be refused. Goods offered as payment are not out of the question.
