I mean I'd imagine if they wanted to be scary they would pin you down, remove your armor, and slowly flay you... then pull you into the earth where you sufficate in total darkness.

And then rise again the next night... as one of them...

i hope in the future this can happen as i kinda want to become a night troll and in the night take a prince/princess or like you said or getting killed by a necromancer and he makes me one of his undead army i kinda want to be npcs like megabeasts and all that

on my first run i was a human named Ana and i got a follower right off the bat i ended up killing him later after being a idiot and drinking a vampires blood on me and he saw me sucking some ones blood yata yata yata i ended up killing 2 bogeymen attacks where my lungs where decimated,do to me not needing to breath as a vampire i ended surviving both later dieing from goblins with 150 or so kills most of witch were sleeping innocent villagers
