I'm no expert on 1930s weaponry but I'm pretty sure they didn't have auto cannons.

I need to design a gun and a lower caliber round so that iI can bump up it's ROF to wall of lead levels. That uses up my 2 projects for the turn.

I can whip up a quad version of my MG with longer barrels for mobile AA and a dual long barrel version to mount on tanks.
Just need my little team to invent the base gun first.
It'll work short term until mono planes come in and are to fast for it to hit. But I can invent flak guns by then.

I can whip us up a proper AA gun after the MG that'll handle the future plans. The MG itself dualed or quadded would wreck the bi-wing planes currently in use.

Well sending me to negotiate trade would be senseless. I'd have to keep phoning them to ask permission to offer things and update them.

Can we atleast recruit specialist engineers? We know what we need and if were already negotiating in other countries a few personnel could easily be part of the deal.

We kinda need to recruit or we're going to get crushed by the first person to attack us. We don't have even a fraction of the man power we'd need to actually defend ourselves for any length of time.

No germany. After 2 world wars if we start funding them we turn the rest of the planet against us. But the UK and USA are in. The USA can supply almost all the materials we need and is full of poor people we can convince to join us.
As for the UK, whooping the ass of vastly numerically superior enemies through quality and training is what enabled them to build the biggest empire in human history. Especially the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force so we need them.
Sweden already likes us so no reason not to bring them on board.
Commandos is my plan as well as hopefully getting some US Marines and or British Infantry to come train our soldiers. I'm gonna whip up a good MG to arm them with that can be dualed up to mount on ships.
We could use a good stable explosive for charges but I'm ballistics so not my area.

The USSR hates us and is very likely going to invade us soon since we were a part of them and rebelled. They ain't gonna buy the gold from us in exchange for something that makes invading us harder.

Oh yeah I dropped it for infantry.
Plus it seemed redundent to have barter and negotiate because they're basically the same thing. Your offering something to get something.
