DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Help - Bodies on Fire - Steam
« on: December 16, 2022, 02:01:59 am »
Hi fellow dwarves,

I had a forgotten beast rampage through my base spewing fire everywhere. Which was fun, the Dwarves charged forth and dispatched it. The problem was it spewed fire everywhere. I have 5x dead dwarves that are on fire. They have been on fire for... well nearing on 2 years. Which is fun but problematic. The bodies are in central locations such at the entrance, causing heat and smoke which is irritating everyone.

Is there anyway to deal with this?

I can't haul the bodies.
I've found no way to put the fires out.

Surely there is a way?

I quite like the new system, well at least in the early game it was easy to use. As my fort grew I was happy. When the proverbial hit the fan though I found myself in a swamp of chaos. No one was doing what I badly needed them to do and I wanted that control back. Granted I was not using Specialisation and I suspect that's where I went wrong.

I just want clarity on what is included in those pre-made options. Does Stonecutting include Masonary and Smoothening? Or is Smoothening under Engravers? Or is Smoothening not included? I would liek to be able to modify those pre-existing options as well.
I would also like to be able to apply a custom icon to the custom work details.

I like having an easier option in-game. I would prefer to see them polish this then us have to revert to external tools again.

Anyone else having issues with the new build?

Getting error message: Windows cannot open the folder. Zip is invalid.

Have downloaded it twice now with the same result. Other zips are working fine.

Looks like FearsomeClarinet is experiencing the same issues as myself.

3 attempts have failed due to network error (my personal network is fine)
1 attempt completed the download but spat the following error: PeridexisErrant LNP r48.zip: Unexpected end of archive
