"THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING!!"

Quickly try to draw air magic from the surrounding environment and blow it in front of me to decelerate myself, similar to a turbine. If it doesn't seem to be helping, rely on the help of my allies.

Name: TS - 1034, (TS standing for Test Subject), or as she prefers, "Tess".
Ability: Proportional-Range Object Manipulation - Effectively, a very modified Telekinesis. By "marking" two objects as "left" and "right", [placeholder] can then control the two objects in relation to each other by manipulating the hand that each object is "marked" to. Objects will move, or rather feel an accelerating force, in proportion to the distance that the hand is moved in regards to the distance between both hands and both objects.
Appearance: A young girl, seemingly around 14 or 15. Her blonde hair is only growing out after being buzzed, and reaches her chin. Her brown eyes are full of wonder, but are also surprisingly steely, as if she's already losing some of her innocent outlook on the world. She stands rather short compared to adults, but not any shorter than would be expected of a girl of her age.
Bio/Personality info: VX -014a, or "Veroxilyn", was the pinnacle of chemical sciences, a drug that gave those that consumed it special abilities, with the granted ability varying by the condition that the drug was administered in. If it was administered in a warm room, a cold room, a room full of water, in a forest, or in incredibly cramped conditions; it seemed the drug attempted to refine the body into a more fit state to survive in the conditions it was administered in. The effects of this drug betrayed all previous concepts of science, and would have caused a wide-spread paradigm shift if its existence was ever made public- which it wasn't. Testing of the drug was kept classified, operating on orphaned children to gain a better understanding of how it operated. This is where Tess came in.
It's not like the scientists were cruel to the children; they simply forced themselves to detach the test subjects from the concept of humanity, allowing it to be much easier to confine them. Tess was the 1035th individual injected with the drug (despite being the 1034th subject, as the 654th subject did not survive injection and as such a new subject 654 was chosen), and was granted her powers as a result. Afterwards, she was monitored in the controlled climate of the testing facility. This continued for only a few weeks before the 1068th individual injected with the drug, TS - 1067, was found to have the ability to create portals. What followed was a large-scale break-out event, as some of the earlier test subjects were starting to go insane due to their captivity, and desired freedom. They utilized TS - 1067's portals to escape, and Tess followed as she feared she might be euthanized once the facility's staff had recovered. The portal of subject 1067 teleported those who went through it to a random destination, and they could not return from it- the moment Tess entered the portal, she made her first meeting with an entity.

Valosh nods thoughtfully. "I took her to a remote location and told her that I had an absolutely evil plan to destroy this village. But you might want to ask a different question before you judge me so cruelly. Since I know what the next question is, I'll answer it; why?

Well, to answer that I need to begin by explaining how I came across Kalith- or rather, a better explanation would be why I brought her to the camp. The young dragon wants to do great things in her life-
namely, be a wise ruler of many humans- but lacks the real-world experience needed to do so, and as a result of living in an isolated social climate, lacked an understanding of ethics and morals. She wanted me to help her with this issue. However, it's quite difficult to simply teach someone morals. After a minute or so of explaining, I couldn't tell if I was getting through to her or not. I needed to see exactly what I was working with; so I took the young dragon to a remote location, told her about my maniacal plan, making up a scheme on the spot, and offered her power. To my surprise, it seems she was less naive than I thought, and she rejected my ideals; however, I was quite a bit shocked when she went as far as to attack me. I initially figured I would wait for her to make a negative or neutral answer, then explain my bluff; however, once she was already in combat, I doubted she would listen to what I had to say; it'd probably sound like cowardly drivel. All I could do at that point was engage her and hope to immobilize her to properly explain the circumstances.

Of course, thanks to your intervention, that was unnecessary. I've yet to thank you for that.
"

Turning to Kalith, Valosh attempts a smile, but only manages a grimace.

"Sorry for all of this. I never intended it to go like this. I did not intend to traumatize you, and I understand that you may never trust me again.

Maybe that is for the best; for I am a human, and all humans are fools. It is what makes us human.
"

In the meantime, he begins tending to his wounds, and starts chopping up the red mushroom into smaller pieces using his sword.

"It looks like you're going to have some questions then. Ask away, and I shall answer as honestly as I can."

So my understanding of magic is such that I can do this...

Karen walks over to where the natural stony ground begins and places her right palm on the floor. She draws Stone Mana from the ground and uses this to flatten a decent sized area of terrain into a smooth stone basin, with a small barrier at the edges to prevent anyone from accidentally falling to a painful end.

If she has left over mana/time, she will continue the barrier at the edge to curve slightly upwards and form a smooth stone roof, with an entrance-way facing the portal, and a window-like opening facing the opposite direction.

Have the fabricator print out some silky rope, and then a few large cloths. Then, try to get a large, loose robe- the kind of thing you'd see stereotypical desert-dwellers wearing- out of the machine.

With that done, nothing much more to do but go through.

Karen nods assent to Brian, and assists him in preparing to go through the portal.

I'll leave for World 13 as soon as I've prepared some things; follow me if you want to, but I won't save you if you get into some trouble you've made for yourself.

Get some water for the initial trip.
(What world 13?)

Push the bomb past all these dead bodies towards the hole. Lament the life choices I made that landed me basically working as a punch-clock terrorist.

Karen raps her fingers against her chin thoughtfully.

"All things considered, the 9th and 8th worlds seem the best candidates.. Pardon my asking, but what is a "tomb" world?"

I'm in for a new mission. I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to make a new character; I have other abilities I'd like to try out, and I've definitely lost interest in my old one.

"Mmmm... Mmm? Where am I? This is quite a change of scenery from where i last remember. I get the sense I've been sleeping, as I remember an interesting dream. What happened? I can infer much from what I can see, but I'd like to be sure."

The buried-under-sand guy gave me an idea until I remembered we need to get the bomb there too, not just us. No sand digging today.

Follow along and just help push the bomb. None of my specialties are needed.

Sweep his legs, then in following with my reckless and almost obsessive consumption, chug my last potion. If I can still move this turn, begin pummeling by way of kicking.
